great video! these guys upgrade their HPI and Rovan. check them out, racing a mustang too... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NLTB1SVTzw8.html
Hi please can you make a video showing how to check and change the diff and shock oil please. As I'm told its common this car comes with hardly any oil in them. I'd really appreciate if you could make a video.
@@TheRCBiker thank you. That would help me out a lot as can't find anything on RU-vid about this specific car. Also can you show how to remove the diff as I dont even know where the diff is lol. Thanks again Marc
Normally when it’s cold after you have primed it you just give it a couple of slow pull to get the engine all primed the. Yank it and it starts right up and it’s ready to go ;)
I have a Rovan RC and I gotta say they are great. Granted mine came with a transmitter that used 8 AA batteries, but still an awesome RC and well worth the money. Some people hate on Rovan because they think its a cheaply built rip-off, but since you can use HPI parts, just buy cheap, enjoy the RC and when something breaks (which it will...) just replace with an upgraded part.....
Precisely. I paid £280 for this, which, no matter how "cheaply built" it is, is a bargain in my opinion! The Baja is 4x that amount! Yet people expect the same quality. Crazy... I love clones and stuff like this, the upgrading and replacing of parts is part of the fun :)
Too be honest this is a start lol I can’t wait for my clones because it will slowing become a modified hpi lol why because ile change out the low quality parts for higher quality stuff get a proper hpi chassi tho
rovan is the cheaper version of the king motor 5b. the king motor has stronger and thicker aluminum parts and the also fit tighter. i have 2 km 5b buggies. one ive made into full aluminum over the past 5 yrs. km base buggy is 550 bucks, compared to hpi which is 1200 for the all plastic version. hpi is a waste of money.
I haven’t got a rovan baja I got something different and is a 26cc but hasn’t got a rubber muffler sooo you can probably guess how many noise complaints I’ve got
hi nice to see a new video I bought a yama buggy after watching your videos ive still got it i don't use it that much i am thinking of selling it and buying one of these
Awesome dude, I have a king motor baja and I love it, I'd recommend getting a 3rd channel radio and then a remote killswitch, I use the dynamite kill switch and it's very good
Lovely to see some 1/5th scale action however I think getting a failsafe/killswitch is a top priority people keep saying how bad a 1/5th scale runaway is
I just seen itnon that kevs channel earlier been trying to find out what it was called but never relised it was a clone if the HPI it's gotta be the coolest Buggy I've seen in along time! Never used a petrol only nitros so interested to know what's different before buying one
Last I looked they don't make new HPI parts for this buggy any longer. Any parts you get will be Rovan or King Motor or other brand. I bought a Rovan 7 years ago and it came with a Fly Sky GT3B.
So I’m having trouble with my 1/5barca, I was normally driving through the grass and I made a sharp right turn in the thing just shut off I thought it was because I ran out of fuel so I put more fuel and then I found out it may be a spark plug ( cmr6-h) I change that out it’s a better spot close and I still have no spark when I pulled the ripcord pleases help I’m still under warranty if the engine is bad do you think it needs a replacement
If it's under warranty then you need to get it sorted with wherever you bought it from, tampering with it could invalidate the warranty. It could be the Coil pack
I am planning on selling my yama buggy to get one of these baja clones. Just a quick question though, roughly how long would the delivery take after you order one of these online?
Hey man gr8 video. I also have one...but not the clone. My recommendations will be a Dominator exhaust pipe and hydraulic braking system. Also change the pull starting mechanism to a metal one. Hope to see the bashing soon
Excellent to see you purchase a petrol.vehicle. petrol will be my next purchase so now eagerly awaiting to see you progress with this one and what upgeades you make. Many thanks for your video.
I've only had one petrol powered truck,it was the 1:8 Losi XXL with a 4.6 cc engine that looked like it had been converted from a nitro engine,I never got it beyond the run-in stage, there was a design flaw with the electronics, periodically it would just do it's own thing as if the ignition was interfering with the radio gear,it had a complex steering system which used a gyro to correct the steering and throttle depending on the angle of the truck which may have been part of the problem, this buggy looks cool though.✌👍
Thank you , yes me too. It's always a surprise when you order from Banggood because they don't always give you a choice of colour, so you just get a surprise when you open it. I don't usually like the colour red but I have to say - I think it looks pretty good! Stay safe too :)
Why's that? What will happen if I don't "learn"? :) You're honestly the only person that's ever picked up on it and trust me.. I do a lot of talking both for videos and my day job!
@@TheRCBiker I picked up on it strate away don't take affence to it mate was just trying to help with coming across to people can be annoying but not to point I will unsubscribe 👍
It's not annoyed anybody in 10 years of RU-vid so I won't be losing any sleep over it ;) In fact, I don't even really know what you're talking about, I've watched the first 5 mins of me talking and have absolutely no idea...
TheRCBiker ah that’s fair enough! I have a lot of friends around Ensbury park way so go there quite a lot plus I go to the games. Where abouts in Bournemouth is there to go with a rc car?
@@jordanscott8573 I usually go to a place in Poole, there's a fab bashing area that you might've seen on my channel. Happy to send you a link to location if you want :)
@@jordanscott8573 Here you go ------> tinyurl.com/y7gfpbd9 I park on the corner where Longmeadow Lane & Beechbank Avenue meet, and then walk. Only downside is it is a 15 minute or so walk so if you're carrying lots of RC stuff it becomes a bit tiresome (or maybe I'm just weak) Ha!
Yes I like the red one and also I like your other videos so in depth of information and they help us if we get stuck somewhere thanks you are doing great job and I wish you all the best and my best wish keep it up
