Fantastic seeing your genuine first reactions and commentary as you go. Really enjoyable video - reminds us exactly why it's worth sticking with the pain of working on-modifying a car. Thanks Steve and have fun with it!
Fitting a LSD to my Fiesta ST was the best mod I’ve done (ok had done). Mines in not plated, but you can put the power down much better now and like you said the nose goes where you want it to. How to make a great handling hot hatch better......fit a LSD.
Fitting a quaife ATB diff was the best mod I did on my modified escort estate, even with the 1.8 engine it could surprise people on trackdays. Can't wait to get a quaife or a kaaz diff on my ST too, it sure can use one too
Steve, watched every video mate. My wife and I find the videos very entertaining and easy on the ears and eyes, we look forward to seeing every new one. It must be in the editing that you have the skills, anyway, superb mate, keep it up.......
Made my decision I think! I miss having it with my old engine, racing recently mine has been desperate for a diff! Some of your facial expressions are brilliant because I know exactly how you feel 🤣
You seem well happy with your new diff! Well done mate I hope it works out better for lap times. I’m sure it will to be honest and no spin so you will save tyres a little bit. ‘That is just bonkas’ 🤣 nice one mate she looks like she’s sticking to road like glue.
Kaaz does a lot a better than the MFactory LSD I had on my Fiesta ST. The MF one feels nothing until u really push the car very hard. But the Kaaz let you experience what the LSD should be doing for a FWD car in every corners, especially the tight ones. 👍🏻
Steve I havent long put 330d engine into my 320d car and went from 5 to 6 speed so I used a 500mile clutch i had in the shed no grease nothing and it slipped under high torque its running 292hp at flywheel and 470 ft lbs after few minutes and head cycle it was OK then and its still going 3 months on
very minor change on straight line highway driving. I noticed that you have to be more precise in your rev matches to gently get it in gear without drivetrain shock. Took a day of just driving the car around to get back into driving normally.
It looked pretty direct. Why you do dis? Now I newd to secretly start saving. With the stock diff it starts to understeer out at the slightest sign of throttle at corner exit.
The torque vectoring braking you mean? I was hoping it would help stop that interfering but I'm using brake pads very fast on track so I think its still active
The best modification for a fiesta is putting a sparkler in the fuel tank, gives it more bang, oh and driving it into a wall to cure the crippling depression from losing all your friends for driving a fiesta
@@MX5.RY99 ever driven a fiesta st180 stage 2 with an lsd an good set of coilovers? Probably not. The fiesta is just so much fun for little money and you can smoke a lot of cars on the track.
