Oh Bill understands tuning, Billy is just translating it to computer style for Bill. I always explain the timing table as vacuum advance at idle and mechanical advance curve springs at WOT to carb guys. I watch the light bulb go on every single time.

My father passed away a few years ago he used to be a street racer and hated the fact i started racing. he would talk shit but then be in the garage working on the cars with me while still talking shit lmao it used to be fun but ever since he past away the car been in the garage catching dust since 2014. As for his comment about the coolest kids having the GT's, down here the smartest ones had the LX coupes because they were the lightest. I bought a new 93 LX coupe as soon as I graduated college and still have it today.

Good to see you all back working together. For Sr, I'm 40+ year GM/Chevy guy, and have 5 of these Fox Bodies. They are very fun cars and a great platform to build. Just keep it blue oval powered. Only acceptable Chevy powered Ford is a yellow 32 deuce coupe. Falcon is a good second exception.

Like Bill, I graduated in ‘91. I turned 16 in ‘88 and my first car was an ‘85 IROC-Z. I went to a fairly large (4A) high school, but no one had an ‘87-up GT. There were a bunch of third Gen Z-28s, a couple third Gen Trans-Ams, one ‘84 GT, one C4 ‘Vette and one Grand National. The two really rich kids both drove Porsche 944’s, but were routinely spanked by the domestic stuff.

In my day, I'm 45, the car to have was the LX. It was lighter than the GT which made it faster. The GT looked nice but for performance matters the LX would wax the GT. Now we won't speak on the LX Coupe lol.

My dudes, hi from Australia again. Hope you checked on those sparks from the last dyno run on the old boys Mali. The smoke you see is the turbo seal from too much oil pressure on a journal bearing turbo. Easy fixed with an in line restrictor 👌🏽 Yep, should have watched the full vid before commenting 😂
