hey everyone,
so this was my first all night session, we fished 12/13 hours off the south side of the island. I don't think i'll be doing one again anytime soon. super hard work, and on this occasion not much reward. we did eventually get into a few fish, also managed some mackerel at dusk and again at dawn.
I did have some issues with the camera to begin with, but thankfully Daisy came to the rescue and we got it going again.

If anyone is interested, I do now have a few caps and t-shirts for sale, which will help to pay for bait etc. Caps are £13, T's are £15
We have also sorted out some stickers, if anyone is interested, please send an email and we'll sort it out, we are asking for £2 for them, which will hopefully contribute to some bits and bobs.

Yeah mate it doesn't look good does it. Hear so many people saying about the nets in shore etc. Doesn't give us much of a chance really. Still a few bream about though, so at least can put a few fish on the table 👍👍

Thoroughly enjoyed that, it showed what fishing is like in the real world, sometimes great but often disappointing. But we keep coming back for more ! Maybe next time 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🤞🤞

Thanks for that mate. That's what I try to do, I think too many only show the good times, gives a false impression of what it's really like. I feel it could put people off of they have only just started. I know I questioned myself so much in the beginning. I was expecting to catch everytime 👍👍🙏

In the med we go to catch big Horse Mackrel (Skad) to eat as they one of the most tasty fish and throw back all the mackreal unless we gonna use them for bait. Was funny to see you saying the skad was for bait as thats the prize amonst them. Anyways keep it up. Been nice to enjoy this in the background as i paint. Tight lines!

That is funny mate, I bet the scas you get are far bigger🤣🤣. I should give one a go again. In my h and it's free bait, and we don't really get much of it here unfortunately 👍🎣🎣

Great video as always. Nice to see a typical session in uk waters, it's been a pretty poor summer for decent fish. Hopefully it picks up soon.

I used to like all night sessions,trouble is they leave you completely knackered the next day 🙄. I’m surprised you didn’t catch anything else, but you gave it your best shot 🐟🎣

I did enjoy it, I think the lack of fish was a bit of a downer, also I was pretty tired already. Its just a bit disheartening when you put in all that effort for little reward. Having said that, I did get some mackerel for dinner, and spent the night in the beach, so all in all, not a bad way to spend an evening. Hope your well buddy 👍👍

Yeah bud that was tuff for the effort you put in… I do like a night fish, seeing daybreak is my favourite time of day. But it’s also nice to have caught something other than eels 🙄. Video was good mate, appreciate your efforts mate👍🏼👍🏼🎣

@@FrugalOutdoors I usually take a beach shelter if staying on beach over night, that way if the fishing switches off I’ll reel in, grab a couple hours 💤 power nap, then get back into it after.

Night out fishing Dylan, few fish too, job done. Dad and I used to do quite a few all nighters back in the day, I can remember as a kid putting 5 pairs of socks on, especially during winter ha! Thanks Gareth. It was great to have a go. I've been wanting to do an all nighter for ages. Definitely takes it out of you. Must be some great memories you have there buddy. Can't imagine doing on eon the winter though. Way too cold for me. I remember my day telling me when he used to go with my bamps in Cardiff, they used to light fires all along the beach. I said what to keep warm, he said no, to keep the rats away😂😂🎣🎣🙏

Good to be back watching your downloads, a great effort on your part to pull out something decent, can't fault your methods, at least you did not blank and despite complications gave us something to watch. Do you get all your tackle to the beach in one go? Or what do you do to haul it to where you fish. I've finally move to Paignton and am about a mile away from what looks to be a decent Bass area, I don't mind the walk but it's just a question of getting the tackle down there.

Hi David, I was only thinking about you the other day, wondering how you are getting on, as hadn't heard from you in a while. I hope the move went OK. It was one trip for me, but was loaded right up. Bit of a struggle with all the gear, but for a long session kind of had to have it really. I have a back pack box and rod bag so most of it is on my shoulders, apart from a cool box and drink etc, that goes in a big grocery bag. Take care mate 👍👍👍🎣🎣🎣🙏🙏
