FIRST EVER DEATH KNIGHT HERO CARD! This card is SO FREAKING COOL! 

As a big sucker for poetic drama, saddest part there is no voicelines when card replaces your hero or at least when you get head back . The only hope that there IS something they might add, but im doubtful.

Really cool aesthetics, just a bit surprised its not a halloween event related card

To provide context, in World of Warcraft during the event of Hallow's End (Hearthstone has this too), The Headless Horseman is an event boss but also goes to specific towns and burns them but... he talks in rhyme! So for the team to KEEP the rhymes on the card and hero power is INSANELY COOL!

It's great that the first Death Knight hero ever is such a cool _card!_ I really hope it this rhymes in every language, because it shouldn't be too _hard!_

Headless deck to legend, nothing new here, we have been doing this for 10 years.

The hero portrait actually gains a head when you draw the head. Such a nice detail!

The hero power seems a little underwheming in this day and age if it doesn't discount the undead. How about something like: 2 mana "Deal 1 damage. Shuffle The Head into your deck, which summons a random 1-cost Undead when drawn. Upgrades each use"

Love how Paladin has an Arthas hero portrait and a Headless Horseman portrait, with Death Knight now being a thing and having them for itself as baseline portraits/hero cards

That little note on the piano when the card gets played sent actual chills. Nice touch!

Really cool card. Didn't expect Headless Horseman to be the first DK Hero Card. Interestingly since this isn't a 3 rune card itself it can be discovered which could be powerful.

That's a such a cool hero, I like how they included the horseman's rhymes. The Battlecry is basically an Asphyxiate and the Hero Power is damage and infinite value later, its similar to Deathstlker Rexxar with both of them having a removal Balltecry and value Hero Power. And also like how the art changes to have a head after you draw the Horseman's Head.

I love they included the Headless Horseman's rhyming into the card/ hero power description. I am just a bit sad, that he does seemingly yell nothing when he is cast? Also I hope, that this card and Horseman Uther have some interaction when they meet.

With rotation also coming will we be able to discover this card in blood dk with e.g. hermatouge or how it’s called? Could even be consistent

Is the original hero power after you play the hero card just to mono D3 damage or does it also draw a card?

Sharp Eyed Seeker won't really see play in a headless deck with all the plague decks that will still be running around.

I was wondering whether I should save for Whizbang or buy the Tomb of Terrors for the gold I've accumulated so far. Now I know the former is the right choice

Love the headless horseman in wow, along with the pally hero skin. But personally I feel like this card is a bit lackluster. I think for me it's just the initial battlecry. Obviously you're getting good value with damage in the hero power, and then cashing out more once head is procced. But idk basically casting old siphon soul but not targetable doesn't seem like what I want to do with a hero card. In wow he obviously drops a lot of different items, but some that I remember are wands, masks, and pumpkin rings. I think the wand/mask reference could be something like "battlecry discover what lies behind your enemies masks, rip them off and prepare for attack!" OR "Battlecry don the mask and discover your pack, all together now time to attack!" Both of these would basically be mass polymorphs, maybe even force whichever side to attack too. Didn't mention wands in this but do the same thing as masks expect targetable, so if anything enemies would be hit with the wands, but I digress. The pumpkin rings are really just stat buffs and tbh would have probably been my first idea for his hero power, like boom/reno rotating hero powers but +atk, +health, keywords, etc.. And finally just the good old fashioned summon a board of thematic minions. Either a few custom minions that he has in his dungeon in wow, or just toss in the minions half his wands are named after; leper gnome, abomination, wisp, neburian, etc.. Wouldn't be a strong board, but thematic and you can always make something work lol.

Goddamit, looks like I'll have to craft back all the DK cards I dismantled for not liking the class...

Honestly, it doesn't look bad, but it doesn't seem super strong. In fact, it's twice as expensive Asphyxiate with a hero power upgrade. In fact, if we upgrade the hero power to the final version thanks to the head, it is a very strong value generator... I would compare it a bit to Rexxar's Deathstalker, removal and conversion of hero power into a value generator. It seems solid, a solid 4/5, but it's far from being a meta breaker or a key card. If we are playing Reno, there is probably no point in playing it, but it will easily find a place in some Plague DK.

If the flavor of these cards continues to be this great I will most definitely get teh pre-purchase bundle for the first time in a while!

Feel's like they're finally pushing handbuff Dk with this. One of the other issues with handbuff is a lack of draw. But if a game last's to a point you can play the hero card and draw the head, you can start putting minions in your to play then or hold for buffs. This going with the puppeteer and other minions that'd benefit from handbuffing like mini rattlegore.

You know what would have been sick? If it was called something like Headless Horseless Horseman. As cool reference to Team Fortress 2.

As a wow player, the flavor on the Headless Horseman is absolutely perfect. He always speaks in rhyme in actual wow, and I’m really glad they kept that here especially with hearthstones child friendly aesthetic

Cool design but I wish the play animation started with his head on and after he attacks the minion it flies off into the deck or something, or maybe he throws it at the minion idk 🤷‍♂️

Seens pretty comparable to Death Stalker Rexxar. 6 mana for a weak battlecry, but get an infinite value hero power. Like rexxar i doubt he will be the main win con in a deck, but more so the cherry on top/ back up plan when you have to grind opponents out. Really cool looking card

Also losing the cirpse 1/1 is negligible cause you get a body with the hero powrt anyway still generates a corpes

seems like a good card but the creativity alone is enough to rate this 5 stars. I always was a fanboy of hero cards and I instantly fell in love with this one. 👌

Still won't play this game until they fix their other gamemodes, but I have to say this has to be the coolest card they've made in a long, loooong time. 5 stars for me. Power level seems fine to me considering the rune requirements. Love the flavor as well.

Oh goodie, a cool new hero card that frost can't use. Sure would be a shame if there was a singular playable frost rune card added for triple frost since DK was first released. (I mean, I think that 2/1 finale card was played for a bit, until it got cut? But then FFF as a whole got cut since it was nerfed and never got a single card, so...)
