@ThePrint : Kindly don't use 'Richter Scale' to describe earthquake intensities anymore. It is an old system. One uses 'Magnitude' to describe earthquake intensity in present times.
Eh use shindo when near Japan, it's how one determines how much was done in a certain area. Magnitude is great for determining just how much energy was released though, so I'd recommend both
