Welcome. In this video I talk about the newest addition to my Halloween candle collection. One of the oldest Halloween Yankee Candles ever made. Also, a brief history on candy corn scents, and a preview of my version of candy corn, a new scent for 2024 Halloween.

Amazing find! I have never been into candy corn but I would still purchase a Halloween candle with this scent for the pure atmosphere and vibes. The label on your candy corn is everything!!!! Cannot wait to buy that! I absolutely loved your burnt candy corn btw so well balanced with the sweet and Smokey /slightly char scent. Congratulations on squiring the Yankee one 🕷👻🎃🦇

Thank you!!! Candy corn scent isn't something that I crave to smell year round. But when the time is right, I do enjoy it. But, it is kind of like black licorice, some people just dont like it. 🎃🎃

Rad video, brother! Learned a lot. I can attest to Virgil's S.O.S. Candy Corn as being the most authentic Candy Corn I've ever smelt. Goose Creek's has been bumped to #2 and Yankee to #3. 🎃 👻

Yankees original wax tarts were meant to be used on their tart wax burners heated with a tea light candle. Also, the tarts they came out with originally were made of full paraffin.

Very interesting video. Thank you for sharing the history of candy corn candles. I had the 2023 version of Kringles candy corn. It did not smell like candy corn to me at all, I was very disappointed in it. I had gotten the Goose Creek vrsion too, and that one smells great, although too light. Gee, I wish mine had achieved a 7 throw! Mine was more like a 3 or 4. I am delighted to hear you are going to release your own candy corn scent. Do you know when you will begin releases? Can't wait!!❤

I'm shooting for the end of July for the fall and Halloween release at the same time. Not 100% sure all the scents will be ready in candle form, but the melts will all be ready. Thank you!!! 🎃

Great find! I have one Yankee candle corn re-package. Tricky was part of a boxed trio in 2013. I know you know. Tricky was candy corn, Boo was a minty Jack Frost and Wicked was black licorice. I gifted one Wicked and burned the rest. I have one full set in the packaging. I just revisited them after this video. The mint and licorice pretty strong but the candy corn although delicious was weak. The pkg clearly says 2013 so your find is much older. 👻

Totally forgot about Tricky! That's the only one in that set I have. I've been looking for a whole set in the package for a while now. I've been wanting to try Boo and Wicked. Wonder if Wicked is like Happy Halloween?? 🎃

@@SouthofSanityCandles Ok I just hit the vault. The Wicked poured 2012 smells stronger than my Halloween poured 2015. Definitely stronger. 👻

The packaging says 2013 but the pours are all 2012.
