I'm a Veteran as well and an Architectural Designer and would LOVE to volunteer with your organization!!! Please reach out to me when the need arises!!! wrsmith34@hotmail.com
With all the toxicity in the news, it's a heartwarming reminder that there are decent loving people out there just getting on with sharing their love of humanity. ❤
I agree 100 % and most people now days cant afford a 100 k plus home . I wish more home builder would build 300 to 900 square feet homes for folks that earn less than 50 k a year .
@Michael I do not know where you are in the VA system or the country, but in Portland Or and Wa there is a program for Vets that gets you greatly reduced rent on certain apartment complexes! Now they are not the greatest Apts but what I would do is make use of that program and then save up to move to a better place. I think they even help with the down payment. So if you have not already check with Veteran services.
@Michael lmao you dont know how much I dont fit in here, but that's not the point. Check with or if you know someone have them check with Veteran services at the local VA there are a lot of services they don't make public or tell us about.
Colette Mcwilliams No we want vets to go first. Not the drug cartel. We demand that the vets get-free a cabin, Free land , free , food 🥘, medical. Free electricity. Free everything. Not the drug cartel. And there families. God said BUILD IT Deuteronomy 28 : 42 to 45..trillions are spent on them. Trump says. Put our vets in a very big cabin. Put them first
What a glorious project! I applaud all those who have launched this much needed endeavour to help those most vulnerable. Such projects should be unveiled across the land. No person should live in his/her car or on the street--particularly in the richest country in the world.
The program is for a Veteran who SERVED our country and is Homeless. God Bless America, and God Save The Veterans from Homelessness. Keep America Keepin' On.
jrbland18 They are starting to pop up all over the country! It’s a great concept...Not just for the Vets but also for the “regular” homeless. 🧐It is becoming such a big problem with the enormous rent increases and no affordable housing(buying or renting...) Especially in the bigger cities. It is really heartbreaking. God Bless the people taking these initiatives...🙏🏼🍀👍🏼
@K X He is the only President who is not accepting a paycheck. Works tirelessly - barely sleep. His net worth has gone way down since becoming President. He is not about money or power - he had those already - he is making a difference. This medium is way too narrow to expound on all aspects of governance and what makes for an effective leader.
@@McChrister Most homeless people are homeless because of drugs. They make work lots of temporary jobs but they still buy drugs. They will soon start renting out those tiny homes for drugs. They need is to focus on the Veterans. They have shelters for the homeless.
In my town in the UK the council built emergency pre-fab houses (asbestos based ) after WW2 ---- with a 10 year lifespan. The turned out FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!!! ----- some people refused to sell when time for demolition. They were knocked down only 15 years ago ----- they were BRILLIANT.
Wisdom, economy and brotherly love❣️ -MBE Thank you all for your priceless service to God and country. We love you service men, women and families❣️ 🕊God bless you all❣️😇🎉🎶💝
This is amazing someone cares for the same people that put there lives on the line for us to have our freedom and when there job is done alot of them end up being MENTALLY CHALLENGED homeless and thrown out to the wolves when they should have shelter avail to them at all cost . pray this video will inspire other people in other states and countries to do the same and help the homeless also god bless
As the mother of a homeless veteran I can sincerely say this is pretty amazing. I wish this could be implemented/incorporated in all of our cities across the USA with investors. So many homeless veterans need this kind of support and help to start over. Thank you!
Outstanding thats whats needed for my brothers & sisters in arms all over the country , sadly we serve get hurt physically & mentally & have to fight for everything we get from the Va , we all served with pride! Semper Fi
I believe every state should have these comunities. I wish we could have a comunity like this on my island for our veterans. They deserve so much more.
With all of the money the Government wastes and pays themselves off, why are there not more of these projects Nationwide. Our vets deserve this. This is a good effort.
I was telling my son a few months ago how much I would love to take over one of the old parking lots in his town and do this very thing for our Veterans.
seabliss22 it’s such a great way to be set up .. Tiny houses could be positioned on that parking lot and then use raise grow beds made of mulch, etc and have plumbing inside of them hiding the utilities needed to make these tiny houses function.. I supervise such jobs .. where you at 🤓
@@jlsoldwood Harford County Maryland. My son is the city councilman for Havre De Grace. That is where I'd like to place this project. We have a VA hospital just across the river. Some son works there in the finance department
@@seabliss22 please mk it happen there's nothing to small or big u can't do especially when god sees ur very reasons why your doing it . we need more people to put the effort to do this for these people so since u have the resources give it try and let us know what was the outcome
Some people would say, "WHY?" and to those folks I would simply reply "WHY NOT?" People these days want to obtain more space than they really need. It is about the space that people need and not what is wasteful. Great Job!!!
After watching this video and learning of this program “Build Us Hope” for Veterans, this is an Amazing Organization, also a beautiful appreciative loving way to show and tell the Heroic Veterans, Thank you, Thank you for all you have done, Thank you for SERVING OUR COUNTRY, as you all are during, I Pray more of us reach out and help our Veterans, show our genuine sincerity, also the value and worth theses Veterans sacrifice for us, God Bless “Build Us Hope” Nonprofit Organization, that you never lack need or want for anything because what you do is Love Comfort and Honorable, you even put a smile on God’s Face.
I'M GLAD , they're helping the Veterans, I just hope they would make something like this community for People On Low income for Seniors in SOUTH TEXAS. GOD BLESS ALL THESE PEOPLE.THEY'RE VERY NICE.
I'm not a Veteran but, I would definitely live in one of these little Homes.. at 64yrs old and not enough retirement money, would be perfect for someone with only SS monthly check.
You can live very well with a SS check, in Ecuador. Of course, inflation will destroy all our purchasing power soon enough. Then only the rich and well-placed will have more than the three basics.
I salute you by having this wonderful and extremely helpful project. If only more countries would take advantage of this idea, so many people would live with dignity. I'm in Italy right now and see the need for so many people who just can't make it on their own. Great job.
@Kelli Andrews love watching living big in a tiny house! I'm sure the Italian giv doesn't allow living in containers in Italy. Let's hope in the future!
I'm very happy for all of you! The one women just smiles so big. you can tell she is so appreciative. There needs to be more housing like this in the USA.
I saw another community like this. Those homes had better refrigerators instant water heaters and nice air conditioning. However, they had nothing identified as a social living space of even a small stuffed chair. These have a loveseat sofa and what appears to be a bedroom niche! I LOVE that. A WHOLE home!
I'd love to be able to start a movement like this community, in Auckland New Zealand...It just goes to show...There are people out there who care enough, to make thing's happen...Love this video
Beautiful both the structures and especially the concept... What a nice way to say thank you... Just a mention, the latest shipping container homes are also, quite amazing...
I think that's wonderful that's the best thing they could have came up withe I think every place in United States should build these for our vets. I would love to help build them I have never did it but anyone can learn and I would do it for free that's only right
Lol teachers are treated pretty good I do not see or hear of teachers sleeping out in the streets like our poor veterans, no comparison at all !! Thesd teachers have unions fighting for there employment and rights !!The teachers here in my state walked out last year for 2 weeks they were given a 5 % raise, state paid healthcare, teachers here make decent money !! I think your confused Nurses are treated poorly they are usually taking care of 20 plus very sick patients , exposed to all of there diseases, with the newest influx of illegals here now they are stretched and being ran like rats !! Oh and as a nurse we pay our own insurance costs !! But back to the veterans they need these homes and thousands more for our vets !!
Look, people I'm merely stating the two groups ... To Me... That aren't treated well. These two people groups take care of different aspects of our lives, the education of our children and the protection of our people. Of course the veterans are neglected far more. I know that.
I am a veteran. I own 10 acres of land Western Kentucky. I wanted to do something like this only not charge, them anything. Just let them pay the electric, water and stuff. But when I went around try to get stores and other donation, you would think I was asking for a kidney, so I just forgot about it.
SMH that's ridiculous. IDK if you're still interested but here's a few thoughts about possible options: - Reach out to organizations that help Veterans (sometimes it's who you know) - Start a Facebook or Instagram account that's ALL & ONLY about this project & seek donations of materials - even if it's only ONE house built so far in the project, shout it out to ANY & every platform available to get the word out - Reach out to organizations that help low income or homeless communities - Habitat for humanity may be of assistance - Reach out to places of worship in the community - after you get some traction & if you need more supplies THEN go back to the businesses that said no, show them the progress/participation from others/how the community is invested & offer something like a sponsor banner (advertising for their businesses) on the property where you'll agree to keep it for a period of time - you may have to suggest it to a larger entity that's already seeking to do this But lack the property (be warned that THIS should be the LAST option bcuz once someone larger gets involved they'll want MORE control over the project BUT you should NEVER give them the rights or ownership of the land- ever. Give them an easement) Hope this helps & good luck.
America by pop up William Blair My family owns a considerable amount (approx 100 acres) of undeveloped land in N Florida (in the middle of nowhere 😩) ...this is such a beautiful idea, but I would have no idea where to begin. I thought about it helping the elderly/veterans because of the remote location (small town, farm land) Hopefully,...God willing, one day it could be used to help people in this way.
Ok...im a vet, living in Australia at the moment, being treated for stomach cancer, and would love to live back in the states again. Id be more then happy to pay water and electricity and help you look after your property. All I need is a small comfortable place to live. Thanks for your service too. Cheers Dave
I could live out the rest of my days in something just a little larger, but this is perfect for homeless veterans coming off the streets. We have an apt bldg nearby that also takes in homeless vets, provides them a nice furnished apartment for up to 2 yrs. It allows them to get training or a job and find themselves a permanent place.
This is a community that's so much better, than leaving the elders to the home for the aged. Atleast the builders have concern for the veterans and thought of building descent houses for them. It's nice that they even thought of making community garden for consumption, less need to buy veg produce fr the grocery stores.
What a wonderful organization! Beautiful homes and it’s helping vets that shouldn’t have to be homeless in the first place due to them protesting their country, it’s very sad but this gives a lot of hope. 🙏🏽
I struggle living in a 6 x 13 foot room in a drug flop house here in charleston sc. Seen a few die in room next to me. I'm retired navy and would love to move to you.
Great that you all or doing this Great Work for people, and veterans, THANK you All, May God through Christ Bless All of you and your Families for your Great Work and Lovingkindness. THANKS for Serving the People, Veterans, I am also a Veteran who would like to own one of those tiny homes they are Great, I like them a lot, Very nice. THANKS SO VERY MUCH.
In 2009 I emailed about 25 key leaders/members of both the house and the senate. I pointed out that the French Foreign Legion gives a small chateau to retiring legionnaires on enough land to grow their own food, said homestead act could be revised for retiring vets and war zone vets...l the few that responded only gave stupid platitudes and a solid “no thanks” for the idea.... banks pay congressmen, banks don’t want affordable housing, they want big mortgages.
AWE, these houses are so nice. I'm so happy the vets are finally being taking care of so I Ty all for being so caring. I would love to have one, I'm looking into them now. I want simple. we really don't have many tiny houses in ct. I'm gonna start the fad. God bless all of you.❤
Politicians have their priorities all messed up this is where it’s at! Thank you for doing this for vets! I hear so much about persons with citizenships in various countries so it’s good to hear people looking out for vets
I think you're right about having that shift happening so soon! Yes, we do need to grow some around for people and have some ideas for business so that they can thrive. Thank y ou
