Is burning green lean popping right at the end of its surge cycle right at the end of the high rpm section of the idle surge? Yes she is louder, at least on vid
@boostedride might be a dumb question, but what was the white smoke coming from near the headers at the 12 min mark? I changed out the ECU on my truck that has been sitting for a bit and it’s doing the same thing. Been having an issue trying to locate what it is.
Not 100% sure the order of events here but for 1 we had started and stopped the motor abruptly several times in a row due to leaking injectors which left a fair amount of fuel in the cylinders and all. second we had an injector or 2 that were not working correctly at idle. they still need sent out for a very good tear down and clean so we can get back on this beast hard again. EGTs from little fuel were high on those cylinders even at idle making a lot of heat. do you have a temp gun you could check each pipe with?
Thanks for the reply! I’ve also been doing a few start and stops trying to sort it, and noticed my fuel regulator may be bad. My sensor is showing 60psi on 43psi injectors. Hoping swapping the regulator will help solve the issue. I’ll also try the heat gun if it continues. Thank you again!
