In this video I'm working at the bottom of slippery hill, bucking splitting and loading 3 cubes of Firewood. Its hot work, but i get it done.
Making progress, one hot day at a time .....

Nice job Chris. Youre just getting into summer again. Here in canada winter is getting geared up, we havent had much snow yet, it was 14 degrees on monday so the little bit that was on the ground is all gone, its been down to minus 12 area overnight a few times. Stay safe and hydrated😮

Yep things are coming along nicely for a weekend warrior. Just going to head out there this morning, bit of chainsaw action, bucking and splitting. Wood for winter 2024. Minus 12, geez that’s cold, I lived in Germany for a few years and saw minus 27 once but that was an extreme. I enjoyed the extreme cold winters. Hope you have a great Xmas, thanks for the support.

There's only 2 weeks left in the year. It's about time that you did a load for 2023 ;) I use the same brand of chaps as you but mine are the superior toughness Aussie made ones. I'll be wearing them tomorrow when I'm clearing up a bit of storm damage for a mate. Only 23C tomorrow so a cool day for cutting.

Hey mate. Ha ha. These UK pale skin legs aren’t tough enough for the Aussie conditions, I admit that. 23deg tomorrow still gotta slip slop slap. 🤔 I’m at the land Sunday, I’m actually still working my way through all the wood from the gulley, so it’ll be a day of bucking and splitting.

Great video Chris. Nearly another year over. Cheers for continuing to post up the progress & jobs you do on your land. I’ve had split timber weathering & airing out for about 2 months in rough piles around my town block - today I’ll make a start to stack it for next winter. Happy Christmas & new year to you & yours.
