He didn’t have much to clip. They weren’t long just sharp because he spends a lot of time outside. But I did recently try clippers on his nails since he’s been back and he was worse. He does have l with someone talking to him I learned that recently

There's another groomer that wears one. It called girl with dogs, I think. She is from Canada and she cracks me up. She is all of maybe 5 foot tall and specializes in very large dogs 😊❤

You’re definitely not being rude. So, I use more water than shampoo because the bottle is a mixing bottle so with that you use more water than solution. But, how I get the dogs fur to suds up so much, I thoroughly wet the coat. The more you wet the coat the more lather you get and the cleaner the dog gets. Using less water actually half cleans the dog. If the coat is only damp the dog is actually not getting clean.

Not probably, I am good at what I do. That’s not me being smart or cocky, that’s just a fact. Given that I’ve been grooming for almost 7yrs I think I know when I can talk to a coworker. If I’m talking to a coworker, it’s because I know how to not get bitten. Maybe you didn’t watch the whole video but grooming a dog is all about paying attention. Just because you may not be able to multitask, which some people can not, doesn’t mean I do not know how to. There is nothing in your statement that says I did anything wrong, you just don’t like the fact that I talked to my coworker. Listen to how that sounds. So because I’m a dog groomer and the dog is new, I’m not allowed to have a conversation with my coworkers. Let me ask you, what is your profession? Are you not allowed to have conversations while you work? If that is the case I’m really sorry to hear that. And let me be clear when I say I’m not being smart or trying to respond negatively to you I just do not understand why you think I can not speak with my colleagues just because I have a dog on the table. When dealing with a dog who behaves like this you don’t feed into it. He’s had several baths at home and has gotten his nails done at the vet, he’s just never been in a grooming salon before. That does not mean I can’t speak with my coworkers while I groom. What a miserable job I would have. I recommend you watch groomers who work in salons with other people and see if they all just don’t talk. Talking is what helps groomers get through a rough groom. It’s a distraction for us so we stay calm while the dog is acting up because dogs feed off our energy and if we get angry the dog gets worse. I understand you wouldn’t want me to groom your dog and to be honest, I’m 100% ok with that and other groomers would feel the same. All groomers talk to they’re coworkers while grooming and if they work by themselves most of them take phone calls through they’re Bluetooth devices. Again, I’m not tryna be smart, just giving you insight on what us groomers think. Have a blessed day 😘🙏🏾

As a long time groomer myself I would have to say that grooming an upset dog requires you to be as calm as you can be and this includes talking to a fellow employee. Every groomer does what she is doing right now so, take your precious pup to someone with no personality and good luck to you. And I've been grooming over 20 years, thank you

She's clearly good at what she does, she's been grooming for a while so she's obviously comfortable and confient with grooming a nervous dog. Think about how many 'first time' dogs she's groomed over the years and the enviornment she's groomed them in---she's always been around co-workers and they clearly don't groom in silence lol. New to you not her.

Yes, I have watched other channels with professionals that are grooming dogs. I did watch your energy and I also watched the dog's energy. The issue for me is that you kept turning not only your head but the top part of your body to speak to your coworkers. Continue to do what you do and how you do it. It just wouldn't be with my dog.
