@@megan.6154 Hi Megan, it's the Equisafety Wrap Around sheet. I bought mine from Equus (and you can use code BARD10 for 10% off and free uk shipping) but it is currently out of stock there so you may have to look elsewhere if you want to buy right now: www.equus.co.uk/products/equisafety-hi-viz-winter-wrap-around-sheet?variant=6334350213.
The chestnut that you had to walk away from, sounded lovely. If wishes were horses, the chestnut would appear in my life. You sound clear minded and knew exactly what you wanted.
Oh he was beautiful for sure. In the end a bit too much horse for me and Steve actually said after he met me that the chestnut definitely wouldn't have been quite the right fit, so it all worked out 🥰
You are so good at explaining things and your voice is really nice to listen to - I have been super excited from the moment you introduced him to us and your regular updates have been so nice - can't wait to see you bond and improve - Woody the "delightful" chap!! 😅
Thank you so much for taking the time to give this feedback, Elaine! It means a lot and helps me know what's working so I appreciate it. Haha he really is my little delight ❤️ I can't wait to see where we might be in a year's time.
Yay! Another trot fan! 😀 I know what you mean about a good trot. I never had Peds vetted as a pony I was meant to buy before him was sold in the days between me viewing him and the vetting appointment. It really stung me (but was obviously meant to be as she really wouldn’t have been the right pony for me) so when I viewed Peds and agreeded I wanted him I didn’t want to ‘waste time’ organising a vetting! Not sensible, I know but luckily it all turned out fine! And the day after I had verbally confirmed I wanted him, I emailed the seller and she reassured me that as far as she was concerned he was mine 😊 I had to wait a week to pick him up due to work, it was the longest week ever!
Lovely Q/A and new intro! 💜 It did take me more than I’d like to admit to realize his “Hoover mode” was because he stretches out like a vacuum cleaner 😋
Thanks for sharing your journey. I relate a lot as a 26 year old who has always loved horses and done a lot of riding, but never owned my own. Hoping to make my purchase next December or January (2022)!
Sweet, kind nature, armchair canter, he really is the perfect horse! He just looks so happily inquisitive about the world. I cannot wait to see what adventures you have together. Xx
Noooo! I would never do that. I record my voiceovers after and layer then on top of my riding footage. I just like to say "as we ride along" etc so you can feel like you are there!
Hi Rhi! I was wondering if you could do an updated budgeting video - this was the first video of yours that i watched and loved your channel ever since, and thought it would be interesting and informative to see if you'd change/update anything after fully owning for yourself! x
I can't wait to watch! Edit: I just watched! I am so happy for you, he is perfect! And I brought my horse a salt lick recently and he didn't even try it, he spooked at it instead and wouldn't even go near it 😂😭 x
Hey I absolutely love your videos I learn a lot from them! I wondered do you think you could make a video on rugs? I struggle to remember which one I which and when to use them when needed. Do you think you could make one? :) Gracias!!💗💗
I noticed that you use Arma boots on him. I'm looking for boots for my Irish Draught Horse and because Shires offer bigger sizes as well these are on my list of potentials. I cannot find any shires size guide for boots. What size did you buy and would you be able to tell me the height and width? And of course, how do you rate those boots? I'm always worried about over heating, and also about weight increase in wet conditions. I'd love to know your thoughts on the ones you have. And Woodie is stunning! I'm really enjoying following this journey!
I was a few months late sending Nalas passport off☹️ but they sorted it fine as if it wasnt late, just the date was December rather than the July i got her 😂🙈 and ive not insured her due to lack of £ 🤣
So x rays aren't included as part of a 2 or 5 stage vetting and if you choose to do x rays, you'd then choose what to x ray, eg. Just the front feet up to the knee, all four feet, all four feet plus the back etc etc. It gets quite expensive as you pay per plate / image !
It did! The great thing about that Kent & Masters saddle as it does tend to find a variety of horses and is adjustable. My saddler came out and confirmed it was a good fit, but we'll be checking in in a few months time as we expect his shape to change again as he builds more muscle.
