Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you my most recent massive / huge costco grocery haul 2019! after the holidays we had a lot of guests over that ate us out of house and home... what does that expression even mean... so I needed to head to Costco to stock up - I also needed toilet paper which I forgot, because I recently bought my toilet paper from Target and it is MISERABLE. Hate it. Won't make that mistake again-- Costco for the win! Anyway - enjoy this Huge costco grocery haul 2019!

Also I LOVE those raisins! I’ve been eating sour raisins for like 10 years. My favorites were the orange flavored Raisels. I can’t for the life of me remember what brand made them, but they still sell them on Amazon and have so many flavors 😍

I grew up in Guam...we had star fruit, pomegranates, mangoes, guava, papayas, coconut, you name it. I can not believe the price they charge for them here, it’s insane!

My daughter is allergic to eggs, dairy and nuts. It is always so special when someone makes the effort to make or bring a special not allergic treat. Thank you for thinking of your family member with allergies. I hope they loved the cookies!

I am dying to try those meatless burritos from Costco, but I don't think my Costco carries that brand (boo). TJ's sold a dairy free coconut whip cream last year during Thanksgiving and I loved it. They never brought it back and I haven't seen anything like it until this haul. I don't have Publix where I live but I am going to try and find the almond whip. As always you are such a delight to watch!

If you don't winde up using all the salsa at the party, you can use a good amount of it in taco soup. It's delicious and adds tons of flavor ;) I also add beef broth and a ranch packet (sounds weird but trust me, so good!).

You are right about theme parks, FL girl here too so we go often. The food is expensive, small portions and doesn’t even taste good. I’m going to start bringing my own food. Only exception is Animal Kingdom Lodge restaurant at Boma dinner buffet. 😘

When we went to theme parks years ago we would pack a picnic lunch on ice and leave it in the van. Around the heat of the day we would go out to the van, eat and nap a little. We then went back into the park refreshed and we could stay until the park closed.

Lentil soup is a staple in our house. I have used sausage but usually it is a meatless meal. I add a potato and we eat it with pasta. I can share my recipe if you like.

Try adding a teaspoon f walnuts, and a teaspoon of chopped dates and dried apple to a salad. Its amazing how well date works in a salad. I swear im going to set up little baggies of all different dried fruits to toss into salads.

My mom makes lentils so good while the lentils are cooking in water she sautees tomatoes onions and garlic then adds it to the lentils next she fries a few strips of bacon and ham and also adds inside the pot of lentils instead of salt OMG so delicious.

I bought the watermelon raisin based off of your suggestion! My kids love them! My daughter actually prefers them over candy. I was shocked. It’s crazy to me that it’s so warm in Florida right now. I live in Arizona. Normally it’s pretty hot all year but right now it’s in the 50s. I’m enjoying the cooler weather because I know it won’t last!

The individual hummus packs are on sale for the month! I'm picking some up for my youngest daughter to bring to school. She refuses to eat the school lunches at her high school (don't blame her) and she's really into those hummus packs. Our new year's meal was black eyed peas (crockpot with leftover ham) and cornbread ...I couldn't find the collard greens! Gahhh. Still a great dinner!

I worked at Kellogg’s here in Battle Creek, Michigan and the cereal is called Rice Krispies. Snap, Crackle and Pop are the guys names. 😉

on most things including salsa but not meat and dairy you have 2 months after exp to eat it unless its open then another 3 weeks take care

We were vegan for about 9 months ... years ago! and we were dairy free for 7 years! ... Then I slowly started integrating some dairy products and it's a snowball effect - after two years I feel like I buy dairy products every trip! I will do better every trip! Thanks for the support!

I did stay up for the New Year this time only because I went to see Mary Poppins Returns at 9PM and didn't get home until 11:30pm. Flash forward to now, just a few days later and it's 9:15PM and I'm watching a couple more RU-vid videos and then going to bed. Woo, party hard on a Friday night! I'm old.

My Costco makes their croissant’s more round. I like them better like that because the filling fits perfectly inside.

Don’t cut into the papaya while it is still firm (& all green!). 😲😱😱😱😱 It should be softer when it is ripe. (And NOT 100% green on the outside.) When it is still very firm, it is still unripe. Do a Google search on how to recognize when a papaya is ripe enough to eat. Put it in (& enclose it with) a brown paper sack with a ripe (uncut) apple to help it ripen. (Same thing with bananas or anything else you want to ripen quicker.)
