Been looking forward to this kits release, thanks for reviewing Jason. My thoughts are building it in ramp down configuration which may need the addition of some internal detailing.
Nice review! 👍 It's a good looking kit; got mine last week. I was a little surprised that there's no roof panel piece for covering up the large empty void into the rear rotor assembly if you make the kit with the rear ramp in the down position..... Shouldn't be too difficult to come up with something, I guess! 😉
Hi Jason, great review again of a beautiful aircraft. Having been up close to the Buccaneer Guinness Girl" which is still in her Granby colours, in certain areas you can see the original wrap around grey - green cammo underneath. Also it looks like with the Buccaneer, the Granby scheme has most of the stencils removed. Probably going to add this to the stash at some point during the year and will do the Corporate scheme as I've already built an FRS1 Sea Harrier from that period and have a Sea King from the same time in the stash. All I need to add is a GR3 Harrier for a potential diorama on the island.
Hi Jason, that was a grest review, the kit looks absolutely outstanding, if only I was 'into' 72nd scale aircraft, but never say never, any idea why Airfix do tneor box sides upside down? Best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
