First Impressions of Farm Together 2 | Is it Good? 

Nothing dies if you're away too long. I have been playing the first one for a long time, and I also got this one. It relaxing kind of game so there is nothing ro stress about. I know in the first one we get a boots when helping other farms that give you the boots on your farm when harvesting

I was a millionaire in Farm Together 1. Played it for hundreds of hours. I'm not sure if I'm gonna buy this one. It seems to be mostly the same game with a coat of paint. There's a few new mechanics, like the town, and terraforming, but those seem like things that could have been a DLC for FT1. This isn't really a new game. It bugs me when games do that. Tropico has pulled this stunt like five times now. I'll probably check FT2 out when version 1.0 drops.

Thx for sharing. I bought this as soon as I could… hopefully it plays well on my Steam Deck, handheld. I loved FT1 so even if this is ‘the same’ as FT1, I’ll be happy.

It’s a nice relaxing game. Once you level up you unlock more items. You can decorate with cute items. There are quests and you will get special items too.

By far my favorite farming game personally, definitely!

I loved Farm Together 1. Will have to give this a try.

I own both games. The new one is a big change over the first Farm Together. You open up items as you level up your farm.

Is it lettuces? I thought it was just lettuce. Though I think it might be interesting if it was like octopus and octopi. Lettuci.

Um, where to start. The urge to share is inevitable after so many hours of games I just love 😁 It certainly starts idle-ish, but there will come a point (maybe level 20/30/40 perhaps) where it becomes much busier and later almost frenetic, trying to fit everything in around the seasons. I always end up arranging trees by season(s) across the top of the farm and flowers across the bottom. It's not always pretty but it beats running across the entire farm! -The stars on the customization page are your level - that's yours under your pic on the left, not the farm level on the right which determines available produce etc. -You get back half the cost of things you recycle (rounded up) regardless of whether you bought it with cash, diamonds, medals. (There are also tickets, but if it's anything like the first they are just for paying farmhands) -17 minutes per season is the same as FT1. Starts a bit dragging waiting for a season to come around - becomes a mad dash to get everything in when you have to get 800 beets planted before the season ends! -I immediately unfenced the chickens and put both groups together. So much easier to feed in one go. It depends if you want a pretty farm with fences and single trees dotted around. Looks fantastic but is a cow to farm! -The town part is new - in FT1 you had to build them on your land. Started with small stands and progressed to shops later -A piece of advice for when visiting other farms. It is considered good manners to plow/till a block of field after harvesting it. And on your own farm getting enough fuel tanks for a number of players to refuel (it was gas pumps and stations on the original) All my FT1 farms are named after fictional farms: Eric's Manor, Stella's Comfort, Llefior, Flatfoot Farm. I started this one with Eric. Would love to see people come visit kirsten.wheeler at Eric's Manor 😁

Apparently the first one is currently better in terms of how much stuff there is in it. But that will change over time? So I guess they mean the game engine is better in every way.

wanted to check out the game before buying, but looks boring :( thanks for the video though ☺
