PLEASE FORGIVE this useless comment--I also got SO little sleep last night and I am hanging by a thread--but that look and those two shimmers came together in such an effortlessly stunning way, and also I truly loled at the outro with the Enya cover ahhhahah. I love seeing you review Shroud cosmetics--this was so fun! I would love to see how some of the other shades perfoooorm I love to see a genius at work. Oh, and I also so heartily agree with liking palettes better than singles. Idk I just love a concept, an experience, an idea, a vision. Woo me with this color story. Sell me on a dream. Let me open it and think "these colors somehow represent the ZODIAC. I am putting the embodiment of taurus on my lid RIGHT NOW." Give me that. Life is short I want my palettes to wine and dine me. Thank you as usual for letting me live vicariously through someone who is good at eyeshadow, and also I hope you find a place to rent soon! When we moved this summer, my husband and I ended up rushing to apply to a place without seeing it (luckily we'd already seen a different place in the same complex), and that was really the only way we snatched something up in time. Commenting for engagement! Also I wanted to know if you had the GlamLite ruh roh raggy scooby do palette and the shroud it’s freaking bats palette. The color stories are really similar but I can’t decide which one I should buy. Ive tried GlamLite and their dark mattes are patchy but their shimmers are top tier which personally I can work with iffy mattes but if the shimmers are bad I don’t want it. Adept and clionadh type shimmers are what I love and compare everything to. Luckily my lids don’t crease so wet looking shimmers are my jam. I’ve never tried shroud but I’ve only heard good things. Or if there’s another color story you’d recommend.

Oh absolutely go Shroud. I can’t speak on Glamlite quality since I’ve never owned anything from them, but Bats is an iconic slam dunk of a palette and can’t recommend it enough. It’s such a nicely curated colour story and the mattes are exceptional. You will not be disappointed!

Hi friend, you know exactly what I'm about to type right? Right? I NEED to see you use that blue shimmer holy shit it looks beautiful. Also, purple and green is not a colour combination I'd really think to put together but damn if it doesn't look so good here. And I'm assuming that gorgeous purple is the shade you knew I'd love 😉. I have a feeling you're going to be dipping into the palette (and using that glitter primer) for a while after this ☺️. How's life treating you? I've not long since got home from an 11 hour shift so this was perfect to chill and relax to after such a long and tedious day. Hahaha, yes I need to also get into that blue shimmer, so hopefully I can find a good reason to revisit this palette. Life is a bit stressful and chaotic, but it kind of always feels like this now, so I guess business as usual, haha. Thankfully I am feeling miles better than a few weeks ago!
