I love this look! It is as the kids would say, a serve. She ate and left no crumbs, I think that's the big one at the moment with the youths 🤣 but the idea of making a super monochromatic look is really fun, I'd love to see you follow this trend in other videos focussing on a different colour each time. Today that gunmetal shimmer in particular was so fucking stunning, such an incredible shade. Also holy crap Unearthly sent you so much PR stuff!! That's amazing. I'm glad you brought the Harbinger palette back out because I loved it when you used it before a while ago. How've you been Maddie? I started working at my new place and I'm currently just adapting to that big change so my mental health has been in a really weird place but I hope I'm working through it. We'll be scattering my nan this weekend where she grew up like she wanted so hopefully once that's over I'll have some closure and can work on improving myself again. As the YOUTHS would say, yes! Lol, I feel so old constantly now. BUT I felt so good in this look, glad it translated on camera. I'm very excited to continue with this monthly challenge, so look out for the next one! And yes, that gunmetal was such a nice surprise. Gotta pull that palette out more often! There's even another entire first volume we haven't even touched on camera! Unearthly has been so generous and kind to me, and I am very grateful to them. I've been as exhausted as you've been, but lots of things are percolating and I'm very excited for the latter half of the year to unfold. Let's just say I get to take a break from retail for a bit and I couldn't be more enthused about it. I hope the new job is treating you well and that you feel welcome. I'm so sorry to hear about your nan. I hope the ashes ceremony goes well and provides some closure. Please accept my condolences and extra virtual hugs and love today.

This video was so so enjoyable!!!! I made my way through some tteokbokki AND some pizza and then my apple lol@me. This look came together so stunningly--it still blows my mind that you can use straight up black on a packing brush on your lid and live to tell the tale. All the colors you picked married together perfectly, and the glitter at the end totally worked as well. I really felt that, when you were like am I too old to put glitter on my face (BUT THE ANSWER IS NO YOU ARE NOT IT LOOKS GREAT WHO CARES BE GAY DO CRIME). Thank you for another stellar video--I would totally enjoy this as a monthly series!

I find myself really drawn to grey for some reason. It's weird because otherwise I love bright colors and high contrast. 🤷 And, tangentially, if you're drinking the strong coffee just for the caffeine, check out Zest brand tea. It's tea with added "tea extract" which is basically caffeine. I don't know about availability in Canada, but I do know there are other brands of tea with extra caffeine. Zest was pretty much my salvation from all the rain this year.

Grey holds a special place in my heart for sure. It feels like a breath of fresh neutral air after the warm toned wave makeup’s been riding. I’ll see if I can find it! Sounds dangerous, haha, but it could definitely help with those dragging days in retail. 😅 So the reason I’ve been occasionally drinking strong flavoured coffee is because my boyfriend is Brazilian and he only stocks Brazilian coffee at home. 😂 so I’m acclimating!
