Mala Ocean Tavern is first restaurant in Lahaina that is reopening its doors after the deadly Hawaii wildfires burned through the popular Maui town. KHNL's Chelsea Davis reports.

aloha,, i went thru it all, we were attacked, it wasnt a wildfire..the police trapped us in for a certain death,,,they murdered all mu friends and neighbors

I remember eating at a Maui water front restaurant and the waves crashed in and got the restaurant wet. It wasn't heavily flooded but it got wet.

Can no one be real. The owner 😂. He is the only restaurant in the area. Sell decent food and you got a W. Was there weeks before the fire after several visits. Very sad and some will never experience

Mixed signals here,first it was don’t come here stay away tourists and that changed fast when the money stopped,then don’t ask about the fire which is the entire environment they are eating their meal at,come but shut up and give us your money
