@@CainNuke Same. It would have been too depressing to be the final episode, but after watching it many times over the years, it really does have those final episode vibes. Voodoo Knight on the other hand, does not. It just seems like just another episode, minus Bonnie.

@@FirstDan2000 Actually no. The Scent of Roses was devised and written as the finale. It was NBC who decided to throw a monkey wrench and air it out of the storyline/timeline sequence, for ratings. So strictly from a in story universe and character perspective, The Scent of Roses is the true finale and last events of the series timeline.

Yup. I always watch Scent of Roses last during re-watches. It just feels right as the final episode.

@@puppylove3781 The Scent of Stevie's Death was conceived by the Hoff to be the last episode but the studio thought differently. The locket in the glove compartment is from way back in season 2. Almost 2 years before this. And this video is of the actual last episode Voodoo Shite. Check out the Knight Rider Historians channel for in depth info.

Here in Hungary they released the episodes in mixed order and first (when it was on national TV channel) , the last episode was the one with Steve's death. It seems that by accident program editors once had more sense of drama and quality than the creators.

Tonya shot him outside of his car after he caught up with her. They rescued Michael from a helicopter, and quickly rescued him. It's unknown if during that time KITT was converted or remade, but likely remade as KARR was the prototype. At the end of the pilot, she tried to shoot him point-blank. He said "Tonya no!" realizing that the windows were bulletproof. When she shot him, it ricocheted and shot her point blank through the heart with the same force as she used to kill Michael Knight.

I would have liked to see one final confrontation with Garthe together with KARR, and using Goliath as a semi. KARR's programming would have been altered to the objective of only protecting Garthe, instead of selfpreservation. That would make him more dangerous for Michael and KITT during their attempt to eliminate him. It would have been nice if the episode was about Garthe breaking into a FLAG facility to steal any material and info he could get to not only rebuild, arm and reprogram KARR, but also to plan building other automated vehicles on a massive scale, including helicopters similar to Airwolf, to sell them to terrorists. It could have been a fun crossover episode with Airwolf as well.

@@williamwilting now THAT is a creative idea. I could've TOTALLY been onboard with that. AND it could've had enough room for action scenes for the whole cast and maybe some returning cast members or guest stars. Cool idea buddy!

@@ewaz6196 Thanks! Here's another one added to it. Garthe manages to make one of the helicopters completely operational. It turns out to be the Redwolf/Airwolf II. And all vehicles are planned to be armored with a hybrid between KITT's Molecular Bonded Shell and Airwolf's bulletproof armor, which is actually stronger than the two separate materials. Garth sends the Redwolf after Michael and KITT, just at the moment Hawke and Santini show up to save them for now. They then tell Michael that a Firm facility was broken into and that Archangel gave them the objective to rendezvous with Michael and Devon to handle the problem. This way they all learn how the stronger hybrid armor came to be. They must work together to put away Redwolf, KARR, Goliath and Garthe once and for all. Both Caitlin and RC are in for the mission as well. But perhaps that is a bit too much. The initial idea was already good enough.

There is a bit of a back-and-forth on that issue. On the one hand, if they did have him in mind to be an operative of flag for a while then why wouldn't they have a dossier with a picture of Michael Long's face? If Tanya took Michael's wallet when they left him for dead, he wouldn't have a driver's license either. Theygave him a new face and new identity so no one would mistake him for Long. There's also some controversy over kitt being installed in Michael's trans am but Glen went on record that kitt was installed on another trans am all together.

That was Matt Mc Colm,David's stunt double at the time.

White Bird was Season 1 not Season 4, the true Season 4 finale would have been The Scent Of Roses, David himself even said as much, the last few episodes of Season 4 were aired out of sequence based on a Network decision which was one of utter stupidity at the time.

And they didn't DESTROY the set, only the cars and the Season 3/4 FLAG Semi still exists and I know its location.

Also at least 5 of the original screen used KITT cars survive to this day, 2 of which are in the same location as the Season 3/4 Semi which includes the trailer.

@@danielferstendig Actually that's where you're wrong, because in KR2000 it is said that Michael left the Foundation for a SECOND time in 1990, so in that timeline Michael left 10 years before the events of KR2000 but 4 years AFTER the events of The Scent Of Roses

So I guess team knightvrider is a prequel to knight rider 2000.
