First legal recreational marijuana dispensary in New York opens

Thursday marks the opening of the first legal recreational marijuana dispensary in the state of New York. Charles King, CEO of Housing Works - the nonprofit that functions as the parent organization of Housing Works Cannabis Company - joins the show to share details about the new shop.

We need it legal on a federal level. I use medicinal cannabis and I get a letter every year from DHS telling me I can not own a firearm. They consider me a drug addict. Plus I can still get arrested and federally charged. Opens at 4:20, nice!!

Texas will not since the Republican Terrorist Party that runs it has said they would much rather take away the rights of women to their own bodies than legalize marijuana. The Terrorist Governor Greg Abbot spends millions of Texas Tax Dollars busing poor asylum seekers and dump them off in a freezing cold street in a strange town without telling organized help while those that voted him in sat in their warm churches on Christmas Eve singing Christmas Carols, was reported to have said that marijuana legalization would only happen over his dead body. He further stated that he will continue to imprison thousands in overcrowded Texas jails for minor possession.
