That's the #1 requested feature and it is mind boggling as to why they still don't on their flagship car. Even Hyundai and Kia and Toyota are stepping up the panoramic sunroof game. I am holding off buying a CX-9 for that one reason. Because last thing I need is to buy one now and then for 2022 they announce a panoramic sunroof.

@@cyberathlete It wouldn't stop me from buying the CX9 if I were shopping for a vehicle. Luckily, I am not shopping for a new vehicle for at least another three years. Maybe then Mazda will do something about it then.:)

Yes the CX9 GT has so many updates over the last couple of years. The 2020 is really nice!

The camera is much sharper, the screen is much sharper and the infotainment is more responsive and snappy. I know because i had a 2021 loaner for a day.

Exhaust are the same size. The Signature does have Bright Finish wheels this year.

I think you’re referring to the tab that has the brake light switch. If the brake lights fail you push that to get it out of park when you start it.

Unfortunately not. Logistically you could add the screen, but the software wouldn’t mesh.

What I’ve noticed is the lighter interiors can show some blue jean dye or other dirt, and can be cleaned. The black leather seems to show dust, crumbs, etc but in most cases just requires wiping or vacuuming. I guess it depends on which you’d rather have.

Maybe one on it’s side. There’s not much room at all. If one third row seat was down, could fit two possibly.

Main difference between 2020 and 2021: Quilted Napa Leather seats. The door now has textured aluminum trims instead of a smooth aluminum. The grill is updated for 2021. It has ridges in the horizontal grills as opposed to a smooth chrome grill. Much sharper infotainment screen and camera (thank God). Just an FYI Napa leather doesn't make the seat any more plush or cushiony. It's still the same firmness as on the GT, but just a more premium covering on the seat. PS what's with this nitrogen adding to the tires. Can you please give the exact % of Nitrogen in the tires and how much you charge for it?

Like chipping n other paint issues

There are some bugs in the paint process apparently from the early years. I have seen one vehicle with those problems. I believe Mazda has corrected them because I have not seen any issues on 2019 or 2020 vehicles.

@@sajithkumar2450 Some people exaggerate and make big deal about it. We have 2018 soul crystal red. Fabulous color multi-coat color and looks fantastic at night. We do have couple of minor hair line scratches. I don't know how it happened. But, it is very minor. You can see it only if you look for it.

The seats are black. They have two options Black or Sand (Tan)

Mazda hasn’t been at the forefront in many things, but glad they are getting with the game.

Not applicable for underwater, but the sensors are emitting and receiving the signals. Similar to bats.

@@JSS Bats use reflected sound waves, just as sonar but neither have anything to do with reflected radio frequency waves. That's RADAR. not SONAR

The reason why they designed it in such a elegant way to start with so it stays fresh :) It looks better than most of Suvs

The Mazda's SUVs, especially the CX 9, is already the top best looking car out there with the look that it has - very classy looking. You don't need to make changes if they are not needed and if they will make the car look ugly. Some minor changes could be okay but not major changes.

It will have remote start through the connected services/My Mazda app

No hybrids yet. First Mazda hybrid may be coming next year, the MX-30.

At least we got wireless Apple CarPlay.

Are you sure Canadian version did not get updated infotainment? I know screen stays the same size but the Mazda website lists updated infotainment.

On the Mazda Canada website, the specs still state 9" screen. That's pretty sad!

My gf just picked up 2020 cx9 gsl and the camera resolution isnt the greatest. Wanted to know if the Canadian 2021 release would have a better camera. I wonder why no screen increase size in Canada? If thats the case not a significant difference between the 2020 and 2021. Only the wireless charging and wireless carplay.

The Sonar has been around for several years. The updated rear safety is new.

I usually try to show the price, but forget sometimes. I definitely show the price to clients in person.
