@@oneoffnate IDK but other manufacturers like Porsche can fabricate a new front and rear bumper between various 911 models of the same generation. If I were Chevy I would have gone for a cleaner, smoother look on the Hybrid AWD Corvette.

The crazy thing is, this is the first ever production AWD Corvette and the Vette is 70 years old, all Chevy (and GM) did was to make the Corvette a year sports car now, and to think there are even more powerful versions still to come, hats off to the Corvette Team and I can't wait to see what else they have planned

I was 1st on the list at my dealer...now that I found out it costs the price of 2 base C8 Corvettes...I'm not getting it anymore...that's ridiculous! Other car manufacturers only charge $10K more for their hybrid versions...I'm just going to get the C8 2LT with the Z51 package now...just going to use it on the weekend so I'm not too worried about the gas prices and getting a hybrid

WHY NOT A PLUG-IN? The new Lambo Revuelto has a 3kw battery, the Ferra 296 has 7kw & the Mclaren Artura has 6kw and all are plug-in. Gm should give that, at least as an option.

Ok so still has an ice, electric engine added but no mpg improvement or environmental benefit which is the purpose of hybrid/all electric vehicles. The only benefit i see is better traction and faster 0-60 times. Not a bad thing and def nice looking, but not convinced best option if looking for electrification. Def has that shock and awe factor.

There’s pros and cons to both. The E-Ray puts up better numbers and is probably cheaper to maintain and use (reduced reliance on gas means you pay less, and I bet the 6.2 liter LT V8 in the E-Ray and the Stingray is cheaper to maintain than the flat-plane V8 in the Z06), but the Z06 is probably faster around a track, and is more thoroughbred

Zer pkg has ps4s tires, the all season tires will be slower. A tenth to 60 mph is the only stat it beats Z06, quarter is the same time but a lower trap speed compared to a non aero Z06 with the same ps4s tires. Z07 aero with cup2r tires is slower but a lot faster around a track.

It’s like saying the 488 Pista looks like the other 488s, or that the 600LT looks like the 570S. Ofc it does; it’s a better version of the same model. It’s not gonna get some radical redesign. It’s hybrid electric with 2 electric motors supplementing the V8. Very different from a full EV Edit: also, the last time we got a car like this, it was called the McLaren P1 (sure it’s a hypercar, but it and the rest of the holy trinity proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that hybrid electric vehicles can be very fun)
