Important note: the inverter/converter is locked to 30 amps for shore power input. This means you cannot plug the 2024 Trade Wind into a 15 amp or 20 amp socket or a non-30 amp generator because the inverter/converter will always try to pull 30 amps. You cannot currently use a step-down adapter on the Trade Wind for any reason. You can, however, use a 30 to 50 dogbone adapter to plug into 50amp. I wanted to include this in my video but wanted to wait for Airstream verification before posting it.

I bought an airstream from your location in 2005. We had it many years and in Virginia, the hurricane took it out. It was beyond repair. We would like a trade wind twin but we are 71 years old now. Thanks for the video.

Flooring looks like terrazzo to me (little pebbles) which fits both throwback look and the outdoor. I love this model so much with the perfect colors, but I love all airstreams. Owning one is only a dream for me. If I ever get blessed to own one, I would name it Pebbles. lol

I love this model as you can camping sites in RV parks or in free camping sites plus it holds its value when it comes time to sell it

This is the trailer for me!! I don’t like trailer parks because trailer parks feel like camping at the Walmart. Off the beaten path for me in Cape Breton and Newfoundland and this is just the rig for it. Thanks Chad and Laura, can’t wait for the next video!!

Thank you! You're the first to do a walkthrough of the twin trade wind and actually show the storage in the bedroom. I think Blue Compass in Tampa failed big time for not doing the walkthrough at the Tampa RV show. I see glimpses of RU-vidrs just quickly showing it but you are the First to actually do a walkthrough, I'm excited for the next two videos and to see more in depth the storage! Looking forward to picking ours up next month!!! LOVE the colors, so glad we picked teracotta!

The AirStreamer channel did a pretty thorough walkthrough of the TW Twin at the Tampa RV Show, not to detract from Chad's channel here I won't post the link but you can find their video. The walk through was with an Airstream factory rep and she did know her stuff

We just watched it and Agreed - they did a great job until they got to the bedroom and just sat and chatted on the beds instead of showing the storage available in the bedroom, I'm particularly interested in the under bed storage, so was happy that Chad showed it to us. I can't wait to watch the next two videos!

she seems like a nice lady, you should bring her back 🙂 and as a dude, I did not notice one bit that the divider curtain colors are tied to the cabinetry. it was a "oh yeah, look at that" moment 😆

Loved seeing Laura and having her do part of the description and also working as your camera person. Which by the way, was that the new DJI Osmo Pocket 3? I just bought the DJI Mic 2.

Where does the table top store when not in use, in the queen model it stores under the mattress, where does it store on the twin model?

It depends on what you're trying to do. I would lower it down to the bed configuration., but if you are try to store large things in that are to travel, that wouldn't work.

@@ChadsRVReviews thanks, but you didn't answer the question; if I was going to put say a kayak in there while traveling, where does the table to go? I know the legs have brackets in the closet, is there a rail or something in there as well for the table top, or do you "just throw it in the back of your truck?" Which isn't very airstream like.

The biggest issue with Airstream is the cost. You can purchase a travel trailer or a fifth wheel for the same price of a Airstream. At this price point there should auto level.

In 10 year that fifth wheel will be worth 30% of what you paid for it. The Airstream will hold its value much better and still be usable. Since Airstream started building them in the 30s, and they still have 73% of them on the road in use!

Well, this one is actually available. We're taking it to the NC Raleigh RV Show next weekend! I'm not sure when it was ordered. My customer order have been taking around three to four months to be built.

The terracotta color is my favorite. It makes the trailer so homey. I didn’t like the fieldstone and that’s all that is in my area. I was lucky to see the terracotta at the Tampa rv show.
