Looking to get one. Are they still making the x model also? I can’t find them anymore. The m model is the only one closest to the x that’s available. This one looks like the m model. As long as they can be adjustable.

How hard is it to find replacement and/or aftermarket parts? Say I buy one and in 10 years want to do an engine rebuild.

It is pretty easy to find replacement parts. A lot of the parts are compatible with genuine Honda ones as well.

I weigh 270 and am leaning towards one of these templars for my first bike, can i change out the coil spring on the rear shock without changing the entire shock?

No you can just buy a better suspension and replace it

I have a 2023 templar 250 the stock shock is perfectly fine just adjust the spring collar about ⅓ to ½

Thank you for letting me know. I am currently out of stock of pretty much every bike in the showroom right this second. You guys have been scooping these up like hotcakes! If you are in the Las Vegas area, I would be more than happy to order you a six speed. I also am now offering custom contracted builds! You will be seeing a custom Templar build on the channel in the next few weeks. I’m going to be offering different packages, a adventure, package, a jump, focus package, and a few other subdivisions.

I don't have a gear ratio sheet of hand however it is similar to a overdrive gear

I have the 6 speed. Get the 6 speed you will love having the extra gear it is not like an overdrive it is more like a necessity imo

Can this 2024 Templer 250 be lowered to a 32 inch seat height for a 5'8" 175lb 30"inseam rider? Can the forks come up through the clamp to get the front down for street riding?

Yes, you can definitely send the forks through the Triple Tree more. I don't advise doing that but you can and yes you can lower the seat height to fit someone around 58. I also sell the x-pro storm DLX that is a 150 cc fully street legal motorcycle that has a lower seat height. I know the engine isn't as big but it's still rips and it might be a little bit better of a fit

Thanks for the reply. I commute between Philly and Jersey so 4 speeds and 150 cc is somewhat limiting. It seems like a great trail bike but not so much for I-95. Maybe adjustable ride height will become more common. Right now only the Pan America has it as an option.

Yes it can. You can also drill a second mounting hole in the shock like they have on other dirtbikes. It will tell you how to on the chinariders forum (very easy) I am 5'10 and can't get my leg over it stock and I have been riding tall dirtbikes for my whole life. The rear shock mounting hole fix is your best answer. Don't get a 150cc bike like OP recommended that's just stupid.

Thanks for the info on drilling a second mounting hole for the shock. I saw that factory setup for the 150 Storm but did not realize that it could be a DIY option for other dirt bikes to solve the ride height problem.

Those Chinese engines and components aren't really the same thing, compared to the big five or six dirt bike companies. And the components are not equal either. That is why they are 1/3 the price. They do look nice. Especially if you don't know what you are looking at.

Stay far away from the chinese bikes. Just get a used real Japanese bike at the same price. The chinese bikes are not exact clones and do not take exact replacement parts when break. And you don't have specs like a Japanese bike. When an old Japanese bike needs repair, you can easily look up the parts. That's not possible on a chinese clone.

I called PowerSportsMax today 1/23/24 they said the MSO will come as "Dirt Bike off road use only". No alterations to Motorcycle are possible.
