That's an ignorant statement. Gen 1 isn't obsolete, Gen 2 is simply improved. Every car company does regular refreshes, especially the legacy car makers. So much so it's one of the reasons many of them struggle to turn a profit even those their refreshes are almost completely cosmetic. Even when they create a new generation the changes tend to be minimal, nothing like the Gen 2 R1 changes.

Really? The vehicle was no.1 in customer satisfaction score, with Tesla at 5. I guess initially they had problems but they have found solutions for most of them or addressing them with good service.

This dude is a short seller and here just to spread FUD . He usually comments on Rivian stock but now has expanded to try and influence these normal rivian videos too . Make your own research on the brand . Lenny spread all the FUD you want but you can’t stop Progress and Rivian .

I have owned a Rivian R1T for 22K miles about 16 months. I can happily report the car has been very reliable.
