Thank you for this! was worried because i hadnt seen it in person to play with it but this review was thorough and specific! thank you cant wait to get my own :)
Love your playing, your demonstrations are always the best, Luke! After hearing this and watching you, I'm about to go and purchase, one of these bad boys, for my own. You are a magnificently talented keyboardist and I always enjoy your videos ❣️😎👍🎹
Pianoshaun71 Hello Pianoshaun. Did you switch out your FA-06 for one of these? I’m thinking of doing the same but would like your opinion after having your hands on both
Always watching your RU-vid channel & hopefully can get a tip of advise choosing between KK2 or Roland Juno ds in terms of easy recalling save performance edited patches on the fly. Thank you
sir i bought korg kross2 recently.m confused at a point .. how many pedals can be connected in damper, switch and pedals??? is it 3 pedals having different works to operate???..plzz plzz guide me
Hello Nice video as always. Thank you havé a question using controlers. For instance is korg nano with faders able to control easily some sound parameters like organs for example? Thanks
I bought this keyboard based on that first sound with the orchestral and timpani sound, but I couldn't find anywhere after I got the keyboard. How do I get this sound patch?
I'm a Roland/Yamaha guy. But I loved the Korg Kross I when I first tried it out a few years ago. The one thing that kept me from bringing it home was the horrible keyboard feel. The keys depth and feel reminded me of a toy piano. I hope they improved the key bed in V. 2 because if they did, I will definitely be buying it! And I love the addition of the pads, very helpful during live shows. I wish Yamaha would do the same.
I bought a Kross 2 & sent it back, just didn't like the keys feel. everything else is great , but I need to enjoy playing it & it felt plastic . Pity I've had loads of 61 keys Korgs & even a tactile 49key & they all play better than these keys., you can't do organ shreds on it. it's a workstation .
Really helpful. Thank you. I'm thinking about buying the 88 Key version. I particularly need to create programmed sounds to call up easily in live situations. I appreciate that there are up to 16 parts, which is great. Does anyone know whether, or not, there are multiple split options available, i.e. to create a programme with say four different parts, or layers, in different areas of the keyboard, which can be saved, or it limited to one split? Any advice gratefully received! Ta..
I've got one and have filled a bank of sampler pads full of Doctor Who samples like the tardis and sonic screwdriver, dalek ray gun etc. the other one has classic old Star Trek sounds, phaser, tricorder, ambient ship sound, door opening etc. ha ha ha, it's so funnty...my girlfriend hates them but I think they're marvellous, nothing like pressing a button and hearing the tardis materialising or the swoosh of a sliding door from the starship enterprise.
Very nice keyboard but why tone is cutting while we change isnot any function like Patch remain ON In XPS 30 ..tone cut problem matters in show specially in India bcoz it may happen that only one melody will be leading..it makes big difference between XPS30 & Kross 2..
Hi does it plays MIDI files and I didn’t has a usb for a pen flash? It’s a very sad and not very common thing nowadays, no one is using anymore a card to save our transport memory…,
Always loved playing music practically the only thing I'm somewhat good at is drums but I want to try playing keyboard too. I've already tried guitar and bass and the drums now it's time for piano playing. I need a keyboard that won't break me like the ones that cost $3,000
I played it at guitar center and it doesn't has no rotary sou d for the organ. So I'm kinda like...but it's cool for pulling and playing and I didn't know it could sample so easy. So I'm liking a little more
If you really want to hear what this amazing keyboard can do, check out HYPNOTICA-Beyond the mind. (outboard delays and reverb effects were used on this recording.)
Luke, You mentioned that Korg has upgraded the sounds....can you please define the word...upgrade??Reason I ask,is that both Kross 1 & 2 have the same engine, the same effects & both have 4 voices per oscillator...which just leaves the PCM content. Is the extra 16MB of PCM data of the Kross 2,applied to some of the presets from the old Kross?Or does the increased ROM just account for the Kroos 2's total number of presets?
For those of you considering buying it Remember the demo shows bits of a music style but he never changes instruments or tones. if he had done it his performance would suck greatly lol Plus when you select category, and if you have to go to guitar patch 70 you have to jog dial Yes you can add them to favorites but that’s taking away your sample pads I don’t know I don’t like the idea.
I am looking for someone to give me a private tutoring session on zoom. I have a korg kross 61 workstation and the manual and the RU-vid video is not working for me. Willing to pay. Please help. [Am i allowed to ask something like that on here ? LOL I want to master my workstation . ] GREAT JOB DUDE,
Yes, it is perfect because it has a most of those classic retro eities and nineties synth sounds and is fully programmable to adjust them to your own needs.
I am interested in the juno ds, but now i see this and im leaning towards this kross. 2 questions, can you edit the samples length and does it have a vocoder with pitch control? Thanks for the great vid
Red Dragon Even though it's a personal choice but kross cannot compete with juno ds and you will regret buying kross they sounds nothing compare to juno ds.
