Shame they didn’t add Jabberslythes to Grukmur instead of Cygors for example - Jabberslythes look like they were made by papa Nurgle, it would be extremely fitting for Nurgle to be able to recruit them…

Sadly, the Jabber is close to Slanesh despite its appearance. It’s presence drives people insane and violent instead of spreading pestilence.

@betrayalz84 that is a good point. As unremarkable as Cygors are, they do have a distinct role that doesn't have much competition outside of Soul Grinders as tanky combination melee artillery monsters

Anyone else thinking of invading the empire with one single army? Tamurkhan and his 6 heroes along with the top 2 units that each hero gets. Should be able to stomp on anyone you meet

i LOVE the look of a Monogod faction having 3 LLs on the Campaign Select screen🥰🥰 hopefully Slaanesh, Tzeentch, and Khorne get this ASAP. …especially Tzeentch because their DLC has already passed. (honestly, I wish this DLC had just been Nurgle, Slaanesh, Khorne)

About the quest battles, there is a mod for that for anyone curious. Yes quest battles are meant to be big important fights but sometimes you don't wanna bother. Hopefully the mod author, or someone who will make a new version, will work on that for all these quest battles.

Question: Tamurkhan leans mostly on the non-daemonic Nurgle stuff, but that is all from the Champions of Chaos DLC, right? If I get only the base game and Thrones of Decay, the only non daemonic units getting buffed would be Ogre/Trolls/pestigors, correct?

I'd love to see a big push for "Unique" lords and heroes before the trilogy is done. There's no way we're going to see all characters get their own factions and mechanics, but having some uniquely-skinned characters with a handful of special abilities would be a great way to round things off for the characters otherwise left behind.

We still have the glottkin and maggoth rider left for nurgle. The glottkin as nurgle WoC LL and maggoth riders as LH. It would be nice if they introduce pox maggoth as a unit of their own too. Perhaps a tier 4 monster for nurgle.

Even if he is restricted to Tamurkhan, you can probably get him by doing the “steal hero” cheese where you request and army and get that hero injured in combat, where they join your faction, even if you don’t have the DLC (I think the original faction still keeps the hero, but you essentially get a carbon copy of the hero, minus any buffs they get from special things, like Wulfhert’s hunters)

If I’m correct, a bit better then before, I don’t remember exactly what changes there are, but all I know is that it makes all nurgle factions a lot less painful.

If I’m correct, all DLC factions (minus Ogres) have their own goals in the RoC campaign, so no, he won’t be hunting for Ursun.

Nurgle mechanic : instant recruitment from a pool you build rather than standard recruitment (They come in instantly but the cost is they need some turns to be full strength) ; tldr makes getting a army ready faster

The one and only thing I would really like to see changed, or rather implemented, would be the body-switching aspect. I really would have appreciated it had they given you the Chaos Lord of Slaanesh body as an option as well - maybe as like a mount option or the like? Or alternatively using something like a tweaked Changeling interface? Even if that meant you'd be gimped at first before you gain access to Breakmountain's body via levelling or maybe a Quest Battle instead. That and the bloated Pestigors! Aside from that though? Banger. Man I'm looking forward to this.

That kayzk joined the cause, I can’t give a full explanation on what the story of getting kayzk was, but it doesn’t matter that much, plus if you’re really wanting to get this DLC, you can easily read it once you get it, due to the fact that kayzk doesn’t take much to get.

Nothing, they all are LH, meaning they can’t die, rule of thumb, if it isn’t recruited in the “lord” or “hero” recruit tabs in your settlement, they are likely immortal LHs.

It is lore accurate! The dude gathered a huge force consisting of devote followers of nurgle, norscan tribes, Chaos warrior tribes, some Ogre tribes, Chaos Dawii, and other dark Chaos practitioners such as the Fimir, Beastmen, and of course. Whatever demonic forces Nurgle granted him to wage his unholy war. He did all of this through promises of plunder or just outright beating them into submission to join his forces and fight alongside him (which is usually how followers of chaos work in the first place) It is also of note. That his forces did march together but in seperate hordes. For obvious reasons, his non nurgle "allies" wouldn't want to get to close to the devote nurgle forces of Tamurkhan 🤢🤮 Otherwise, the dude had a quite varied and large force under his command.

This is a Campaign only DLC for Nurgle, in pvp these units are very bad... Tamurkhan and Toad Dragons both are pure trash. Bile Trolls do not have any breath or shooting...Ogres over cost and under deliver and Rot Knights are good but slow and expensive. Empire and Dwarfs got very OP new units...in Thrones of Decay....unreal

Most players are campaign exclusive... Otherwise, sorry that your nurgle army doesn't translate into pvp. Atleast it very much works in single player as intended 😅
