I love this so much. Give people an option to go buy groceries without having to get behind the wheel of a huge metal box that emits CO2 and kills children at crosswalks.

Carbon dioxide isn't pollution or a "greenhouse gas," you scientifically illiterate Democrat! Co2 is the building block for ALL life on Earth! In fact the healthy human body has a higher internal concentration of carbon dioxide at any given time than the atmosphere as a whole! The same goes for all the animals from aardvark to zebra, all of the birds in the air, and all of the fish in the sea. Without Co2 the Earth would die. It would be as desolate as the Moon, or Mars.

@@zacharyhebert6423 The CIA is too busy spreading American propaganda in 3rd world countries to focus on getting people to bike more here in the US.

This is great, American cities force people to get cars because they’re so sprawled and have terrible public transport, it’s such an unnecessary expense to have a car in more compact city. Look at cities in Europe.

America isn't Europe... thank God!

@@garyjackson3531 That mindset is so insular and arrogant. There's so much we can learn from other cultures, and refusing to change means we never grow as a society. Yes, the US isn't Europe, but that doesn't mean we can't take inspiration from their good ideas.

If you're poor, having to own a car just to function in life (buy groceries, get to work, etc.) is an *enormous* cost burden. And it disproportionately harms poorer people who rarely have the option to work remotely. To say nothing of the massive climate change impacts we're going to be facing.

this is because of the way we designed our towns and cities with Euclidean Zoning which is systemically racist and discriminatory. Car-free neighborhoods, towns, and cities allow people who cannot afford a car to live life without a huge burden and expense.
@garyjackson3531

@@ClayShentrup I was wondering when some lunatic would scream "racism!" People couldn't wait to get out of dirty, filthy, crime ridden cities and into the suburbs, when cars came along! Homes, yards, parks, good schools, fresh air to breath, room to stretch out. People are fleeing cities again, because of high crime (Los Angeles and NYC resemble a dystopia world straight out of a bad 1970's sci-fi movie... and are virtually unlivable.) Chicago, San Francisco, and most of the Eastern big cities aren't far behind. Racism is allowing violent criminals to roam free without fear of consequences and forcing Blacks into failed public schools. The entire Democrat run system is designed to keep Blacks poor forever!

A lot of people would say that it was strange to build our society around these expensive polluting metal boxes that kill 40,000 Americans per year.

It’s strange to us Americans, but most first world countries have already figured it out that walkable cities are the way to go
