Hi Brian, It's a lot easier to find a constant 12V source behind the dash since your wiring will be much shorter. But using a simple fuse tap off of a fuse in the fuse box would work fine. Use a test light to see what circuits have constant power and tap off of that

Cheers mate, always great to hear some feedback. Yeah I have heard there can be a bit of a sound difference between Aluminised and Stainless steel. The main downside to stainless is that is that bit more brittle, so can crack if you knock it on a rock or something offroad. My old prado had plenty of knocks in the aluminised steel exhaust from 4WDing, and I was able to just bend it back into shape. Perhaps its not such a big problem with the 200 but the extra $800 to go stainless didn't really add up for me. But when you do get your exhaust and install it, tag me on Instagram. I'm super keen to hear the difference now!

Yeah not something Manta says anything about. The exhaust clamp holding the drivers side section in place came loose, meaning the tip of the exhaust could swing up and rub on the bumper. The heat of it made it melt a nice little arch out of the bumper, so its now clearanced correctly haha. I have tightened everything again, but yes it would have been easier to trim the bumper initially.

Maybe one day haha. Would need a bunch of other work to make those jobs work properly and reliably.

Haha yep, sure did! I was putting away my tools and found them still on the seat! Had to pull the dash back apart to refit them

Its just a replacement one from Stedi, with constant power from the battery through a 10A fuse. Pop the old one out, put the new one in, and run the wires through the passenger side footwell, out the firewall and to the battery. Mine is powered in parallel with my UHF.

You'll have to hear it in person. Very civilized at low revs, but once you put your foot down it does roar
