I remember when the sega dreamcast came out in 99. The graphics were head and shoulders over the others. It makes no since why dreamcast failed. It's unreal to imagine where there graphics could have been in 2020

Dream cast came with a Web browser. so there is no telling why that controller is sticky.

This seems like a fun game to play with friends or by yourself just to have fun.

Look at these graphics compared to NBA Live 2000 or even 2001. 2K always had a leg up on Live graphics wise

when i started playing this game, i told all my friends that this will be the best basketball game in the future and they all laughed at me..

I honestly miss dreamcast. I wish they wouldn't have given up on it so fast with Playstation coming out around the same time. Hopefully one day we get a new version. Maybe Nintendo and Sega could team up and make a dreamcast 2. As for the game, always loved the incorporation of ESPN in the earlier games. Wish they would have kept that too. Surprising this doesn't have it yet.

This was the absolute height of graphics in a basketball game when it came out. I still remember it. My mind was completely blown. This was also back when if you played on any decent level of difficulty it was almost impossible to make any jumpshot.

At the time of it's release this game was next level amazing. Not quite like NFL 2k but up there. I am glad I got to experience Dreamcast in its original glory. Some of my fondest gaming memories.

I had NBA Live 2001 with KG on the cover. But my FAVORITE 2K game growing up was by far 2k5. The way you could manage games while you simmed was awesome on that game. Love your channel for the nostalgia. Check mine out for all things 2K17, and I'm gearing up for 2k18!

Dreamcast controller is excellent and works perfectly for the 2k basketball games. A controller with nasty sticky buttons and a worn out stick doesn't warrant proclaiming the controller is "terrible."
