On board my 1963 Elva Courier at VARA's High Desert Challenge 2021. It was my first race in 2 years and the first time we brought our new car out to the track. I got to grid late and had to start in the back, but I did not mind as I was still not confident in the car having done less than 10 laps. We ended up blowing off a plug on the dry sump oil pump which ended my race. I looked over and saw a little bit of smoke then no smoke, but then there was a lot of smoke and it was already too late :/ Can't thank my mom and dad enough for putting me in a new car and allowing me to do what I love. We'll sort out the car and get em next time!
