youre making me miss my karting days. Sold my old kart with a kt100 finally earlier this year. But the car is finally after 10 years of trying to put it together going to do an autocross this year.

Lead weights go in your pockets before the cart gets weighed with you in it. Then before the race, you remove the lead weights from your pockets. Haven't you learned anything from John Ficarra?

Carts are pretty neat. My small town of Alexandria IN hosts a go-cart Grand Prix through the streets of town. I like to go watch the race up there. Fun times I’m just waaaaay to big of a feller to get on a cart though lol

Any chance you can put a shorter gear in it? The 206 has a 6100RPM limiter on it, but a slightly smaller clutch gear (or taller rear axle gear) will bump your RPM and might be what you need for out of the hole and out of the corners. It sounded like the motor was bogging out of the corners. Good video, looks like a blast

Casey quick tip on weighing the kart. If the kart is underweight try standing in the middle of the kart (on the seat if you can) and shift your weight around and you can usually add a few kgs.

You need to power man. They were pulling away from you in the straightaway. Obviously I'm not telling you something you don't already know,. But you were also obviously a much better driver in each race you ran. So imagine what you can do with a little more speed, and also have more driving talent then the majority of your competitors! Great video man! I look forward to seeing more videos in the future with that badass cart! I need to research if there is a circuit close to Wichita Ks.

Rule of thumb for karting, never stick it on the outside. You will get hit off.

Was it still 2 pounds over weight at the end after removing the torsion bar? I'm hoping battery technology will get better to the point it's affordable to have a fast electric kart.

I removed the bar for handling. 2 pounds is a small amount.

@@CaseyPutsch I was just confused that at the beginning the Kart was 4 pounds under weight, so you added 5 pounds. But then removed the torsion bar after practice. But at those weight differences it's of course enough to drink a bottle of water and weight 1 pound more. Don't mind me, I'm just nitpicking :p

Just need to spend $1200 on a "motor blueprint" and $400 for a "Clutch correction".....I'm suspecting....Are their "Claiming Rules"?.....Make new friends....Claim a motor....😁 Used to race KT100 in "Nor Cal Karting" and the top finishers were oftentimes "Petroleum Engineers" who worked @ Standard Oil company....Their KT's seemed to just be a "little bit better"

Donut media’s content is a spectrum and their videos cater to different audiences, they aren’t exactly here to please just one subsection of viewers. Though in my opinion the video titles are a tad too sensationalistic in my opinion.
