First reaction to Angelina Jordan - Feeling Good (Performs at Allsang På Grensen - TV2) 

I have never heard any kid or teen go that low so you're absolutely correct i think

I am planning to show you all my city and the western parts of Norway, i have never thought about doing a language thing, but maybe. I can of course talk about Norway and why we are like we are... hehe, i will make a note but not give an promises ;) When it comes to the crown of flowers it was more normal before we got cellphones and computers to actually sit down in a field of flowers and make the crowns. I think it's a lovely thing, but kids nowadays almost never make one...

Of course we're proud but as a socially awkward and introvert society we don't roam the streets.. We've become keyboardwarriors instead ;) I don't think there's more talent in Norway then anywhere else in the world, it just that Norway is large country with a tiny population so it's much easier to stick your head out and get recognized :)

@@didymalgia I know you have planned to do the excellent chronological list of Rusty, but I think you should add some additional reactions when requested. This is one example, later on there is also a fantastic version of 'Cry me a river' from Prøysenhuset that is unreal. The 'problem' with Angelina is that she has several versions of the same song, at different ages, all of them are excellent. Even when recorded using mobile phones and non professional equipment they are fantastic and at the same level as professional recordings.

@@geirstianaaslund7141 I will jump off to do some double and random videos every now and then ,but i have to set up a proper list ;) I know she has multiple versions, and tha ofc makes it a little harder, but sometimes i will hit the right one and sometimes not. Just like life it self ;) hehe

R 🇦🇺 ADDITIONAL: The book (as translated) is a profound insight into what appears to be a revelatory moment in Angelina's formative years which resulted in her declared ambition to become a 'star'. Most people would assume this simply meant she wanted to become a pop star or 'influencer' a vague, generic ambition in common with many of her generation (at least those raised in the developed world). However the book, based on diary entries she made at the time, hints at a far deeper spiritual meaning for Angelina. Mery Zamani's deceptively naive artwork provides further insight into what 'star' meant, to six year old Angelina. In my view, it refers to a determination, born from that experience, to achieve a public platform by whatever means available, in her case by perfecting her singing and writing skills. If so, this follows the same path to fame and associated influence pioneered by her compatriot, Aurora Aksnes, who (reluctantly at first) chose a singer/songwriter career for similar reasons. Angelina's self-penned song 'Seventh Heaven' contains much of the same philosophy and imagery first expressed in the diary and the book illustrations. Much credit must go to Norwegian author Erling Kittelsen for having spotted the value in Angelina's diary entries and for persuading her to publish them. R (Australia)

I have already seen your mentioned version and yes it slightly better :) Yes she is revered, but as i have mentioned in several comments she doesn't appear in the media and on the television to be growing her fanbase here in Norway. Everything new that comes from her appears here on youtube and on Instagram and TikTok nowadays. And the fact that she's moved to the US also has an effect of course. But we know her and cherish her and has done that since NGT

Angelina has sung for (Norwegian) royalty, but performers of all ages bowing to acknowledge applause is still common in Europe and in Australia, where I live. However curtseys (strictly for girls) are less often seen these days. I think even in Norway girls quietly forget them sometime around early teenage.

@@YozhikvTumane Perfect example for that better / worse issue. The Stream is a TV-show, lot of glitter and so on. Maybe from skills it might have been a little more perfect, but on this one here you literally could feel the love and joy she wanted to spread among all the people. Two different sets influenced the setting.

@@markuss7249 I don't mind the TV show glitter, and the orchestra she has on _The Stream_ is absolutely fenomenal just as the one she has here - just different arrangements. But as you say, the joy and I think also the _"performance energy"_ in this one speaks closer to my soul. I often listen to both of them and I fully understand why she has both recordings on her channel.
