day6 used to have 6 members but i think after a few months from their debut one of the members had a dating scandal and left the group. and now one of the members, Sungjin is on military enlistment before their recent comeback. Jae - guitarist, vocalist Sungjin - leader, guitarist, vocalist YoungK - bassist, vocalist Wonpil - keyboard, vocalist Dowoon - drummer, vocalist as well!!

I think Kpop is more of an industry than a genre and rock bands like Day6 still fit in there. Btw, their sixth member Junhyeok left the band shortly after debut, due to a dating controversy with a fan. They have been ot5 ever since.

This is terrible of me but every time I hear Day6's "Congratulations", I keep instead thinking of the hilariously _EPIC_ video of TWICE fake-performing the song. 😂😂 P.S.: Fun fact.... prior to debuting as a band, the individual members of Day6 were training to be regular idols just like any other trainee in JYPE. The mental image of Jae dancing and learning choreo is enough to make me 😂😂

There's one famous theory back in the comeback days. The guy is dead... and the girl follow him to the afterlife (the boot's footsteps are the girl's footstep, you can see in the early seconds of the video that she wore a boot). We can also hear a flat line and a sudden darkness. Hence, everything with glow filter are potraying their happy afterlife...

Hello! Thank you so much for your reaction! DAY6 has originally six members, which is the one's Junhyeok who plays the keyboard originally. But 2016 he left the group and they continued as five members, with Wonpil having keyboard and synthesizer as his instrument. All of them are main vocalists. Dowoon who's the drummer also sings and you can check all their songs because they don't have any bad songs. I can understand you really well, a lot of mydays too (DAY6 fandom name) can relate since all of their songs appeal to every emotions, in different situations you are in. You can start on their title tracks, Zombie, Sweet Chaos, Time of Our Life, days gone by, Shoot Me their Everyday6 project (which they released two songs every month) and Letting Go. You can also check their tracks in theri albums Daydream, Sunrise, Moonrise, Youth Part 1: Shoot Me, Youth Part 2: Remember Us, The Book of Us: Gravity, The Book of Us: Entropy, The Book of Us: Demon and the latest The Book of Us: Negentropy.

ALSOOO!!! Congratulations have some MV continuation, the song is called 'You Were Beautiful' which shows the girl's regrets. These two songs (Congratulations & You Were Beautiful) has an english version. I think you should check those two in your time! :D

Day6 has a lot of good songs, but I was personally moved by the Zombie song. It's so true to most people and it makes me feel a little sad.

The "congratulations" is _absolutely_ sarcastic. 😉 His ex has moved onto another guy before he even properly realises she's his ex... Day 6 don't really _have_ a main vocalist, as you noticed; the only one who doesn't sing _as much_ is Dowoon, the drummer. But that's changing, as he decided to take vocal training some time ago, and when he _does_ sing in their songs, they pretty much always make it a feature (sometimes they even stop playing to emphasise it), because even unpolished, he has a beautiful deep tone. When they perform live, you can always see Young K/Brian's (the bassist) "proud mum" face when Dowoon sings. 😊 As an aside, that raspy voice that guitarist/leader Sungjin is well-known for is _entirely put on._ His natural singing voice is much smoother, but he _taught himself_ the rasp to help give him that rocky edge. If you fancy checking out another band, you could do far worse than ONEWE, Mamamoo's hoobaes, and brother band to Oneus.
