I don't know gfriend that well, but Apple snatched my wig and threw it on the floor. I've been in kpop since last year, so i'm pretty new but one thing that ALWAYS caught my attention with gfriend is their vocals and their choreos. Oh my fucking god they are something. I'm so glad than you finally react to gfriend one of my favorites girlgroup. This group is pretty famous for their energic, syncronized choreo and they unique music genre. But also by their story line so I hope for the future you can react to all of them music video in order. I recommend to you also their dances practice videos because is really amaizing. The girl who have red hair is SinB, the second youngest of the group, the main dancer and the girlcrush of the group ( she's personally my Bias by the way)

Gfirend is the true definition of slow amd steady growth.They started with the school girl concept and becomes matureer each comeback. Crossroads is the og gfriend music style. Also ,they have an ongoing storyline since they debuted(Im not sure but the storyline is somehow connected with bighit universe like TXT,BTS) (Buddies,correct me if smth wrong since Im not a buddy😂)

Yay! I’m so glad you checked them out! Gfriend is definitely one of my absolute favorite girl groups ever. They came from humble beginnings and essentially worked their way up to the top of Korea’s charts. They’re not very big internationally, but they’re definitely a well loved group in Korea, definitely Top 3 or 4 girl group there. They regularly top music charts, sweep music show wins, and win year end awards. In fact, they have the 2nd and 3rd most wins on a single song by a girl group with 15 wins on “Rough” and 14 wins with “Naveriella”. Their accomplishments are incredible considering the fact that they came from a small company, Source Music. Their company did become a subsidiary of Big Hit last year but make no mistake, they achieved these crazy milestones and awards BEFORE Big Hit came in to the picture (sorry, I have to mention that because there are people out there who tend to discredit the girls’ hard work and say they got there “thanks to Big Hit” or “They’re lucky Big Hit took them in”). Anyways, at the end of the day, they’re still Source Music artists. As for storyline, there technically is one. It goes to the start of their journey, from debut onward. The 3 you watched I’d say Fever and Apple are most different from their usual sound. I think in order to grasp Gfriend, you should start with them from the very beginning, you’ll see what sets them apart from other groups. So please start from “Glass Bead” > “Me Gustas Tu” > “Rough” those 3 are a set. And you should totally watch their dances, they have amazing choreography and are famous for their synchronicity. Ok I’m done rambling.

You just reacted to my favorite GG. I started kpop for them and the love I have for them is a lot. They started at the lowest and received a lot of hatred and still managed to position themselves in the market. The CEO sold his house in order to debut them and they had no money to hire choreographers and vocal teachers, so they invested in one of the members (SinB) to teach the dance steps to the others and the member Yuju (voice goddess) trained them vocally. And despite this they are one of the most vocally stable and clean groups in their choreography. Actually these songs Apple-Fever are different from what they usually do, however, it still has the characteristic GFriend vibe. I can't even explain how surprised I was when I saw the dark turn almost at the end of the song. For a moment I even questioned who they were haha. GFriend is known for their orchestral soundtrack, in fact Crossroads may be their signature. That song is so special to me, its lyric is so emotional ;-;/ I recommend you watch time for the moonight and sunrise for more surprises :D Thank you very much for your reaction.

there’s so much to react when it comes to gfriend! i swear they have the best choreographies and are highly recognized because of their synchronization and unique concepts, also their voices and iconic high notes! if you want to see it for yourself, you should definitely react to Me Gustas Tu (choreography version), Rough (choreography version), Labyrinth, Sunrise etc, so you can hear their most iconic songs (the first two are considered anthems in Korea) and see them in action!

The fandom name for Gfriend is Buddy, they debuted back in 2015 with glass bead and got their first win with rough. If you’re interested in getting into the storyline, I recommend watching fingertip, time for the moonnight and sunrise. Your potential biases are probably Yuju and SinB. SinB was the red head and she is our main dancer of the group. Yuju is the main vocal and you mentioned a lot of times how stunning she was lol. Yes okay so Gfriend is a 6 members group that is under Source Music, now under BigHit as the CEO’s are close friends and they combined lol. Here are the members from oldest to youngest Sowon: tallest, leader, main rapper and future ceo of source music lol and also known as one of the most beautiful idols. She also has a dog named meonji Yerin: lead dancer and face of the group, she also skinned a lizard once on tv lol. She’s probably one of the craziest members. Eunha: Lead Vocal, was originally a trainee from big hit and was on a dance team with SinB when they were younger. She’s also referred to as a bunny often and is the shortest of the group. She was also a child actor. Yuju: Main Vocalist, known as one of IF NOT the best gg vocalist of 3rd generation. Had the most puppy energy and can be really hyper. Also really good at running. SinB: main dancer and center, she was once a grasshopper on a kids show. She was also originally a bighit trainee and hates being aegyo. She also has a dog named ankko!! Umji: the baby, she’s really started to become a lead vocalist position recently lol. She comes from a rich family and was scouted in the street to become a trainee. She’s struggled the most with weight and hate sadly :(( she’s the best in the group when it comes to English If you want to watch some shows they’re on I recommend idol room episode 35, Gfriend! Look after our dog (it’s 12 episodes), and any time they’ve been on weekly idol. Ps they’re the ones that made the 2x dance a thing on weekly idol. Okay I think I’m done for. They have a lot of great bsides too but I’ll let you learn their title tracks before I go off about that lol

I hope you and other people read this! It makes a lot of sense! Thank you! 💜💜 It turns out that there is a love story going on in this storyline. I believe the love story itself is based off an ancient myth. It is between Yerin (long blonde hair in Apple) and SinB (red hair in Apple) and that is why in multiple scenes, you can see that they are closer than the others and they fight more against separation. Crossroads portrays their story the most. In Crossroads, SinB actually signifies saving Yerin's life. When Yerin is in the bathtub, she is trying to commit s***ide by drowning herself, but Eunha (main character in Crossroads) ends up turning back time to save her from dying, ultimately using another butterfly. She has a limited amount of butterflies, which help her turn back time. Eunha, one of the members, is trying to turn back time to reunite with her members, who have gotten separated, or, as some speculate, even died. If you pay close attention, Yerin is on a train and I personally believe that the train leads to death, from her alleged s-word. SinB, your favourite, ends up pulling Yerin off the train, because although Eunha saved her, SinB is the one that Yerin truly trusts, since there may be romance. After watching Apple, many people think that it revolves around the concept of temptation and alluring each other to either heaven or hell. Eunha still has to find away to reunite everyone, as she is the only one who can. They all got separated (or died) and need to find a way back. When everyone is together, it is a dream world, and when they are apart, it is reality. Love ❤️ I hope you read this!

In 2018 ,dreamcatcher when gfriend release Time for the moon night performing at the showcase, they said gfriend performance was very good, have dark concept melancholy and want collab with if have the opportunity.

Okay, this is my opinion. The "kissing" scenes between the girls is actually does not symbolize gay or whatever we think. It actually symbolizes how tempting the apple is. That's why in the last kissing shot, there's an apple in between the girls. They're not kissing each other, but the apple. The storyline is like the eden paradise, about forbidden apple tree. It's forbidden yet tempting. One by one fall into the trap of forbidden apple. Once you eat the apple, it becomes a big sin, no turning back, costumes and set suddenly changed to dark. Ahh so many more storyline to tell.

out of the 3 songs you listened, crossroads is the their signature sound. they are known for their sentimental, anime-like sound other songs like rough, time for the moon night, and sunrise are similar to that vibe. but gfriend also switched up bunch of times with different concepts like fingertips, sunny summer, and fever

They always have the classical music you can hear it on almost every Mv and they also have a storyline which is connected to all their Mv's, they have a 2 video where it explains their story. Their biggest hits are Me Gustas Tu,Rough,Navillera and Time for the Moon Night (though all of their Mv's got lots of wins these 4 stands out the most, Rough gave them their first win, and 15 wins and a title called All Kill Awards which means they won in all music shows they appeared, Navillera also won 14 awards on music shows. Glass Bead - Navillera - Sunrise-Time for the Moon Night - Fingertip - Crossroad - Apple. They are Girl group highlighted with with their powerful dance and vocal even having Innocent concept. Their MVs are full of connected theory (story line). Being Eunha (Girl who fall from Crossroad and Apple) as like "main". Crossroad MV (Labyrinth title track album) is like first part of apple. The theory we got to make in Crossroad is that Eunha holder of the Glass Bead and the Butterfly. Travel back in time/s to fix their broken relationship. You can see in the end of the MV the room is getting destroyed while Eunha keeps changing appearance. Like the butterfly effect of her time travel. Apple is another choice. As they are drifted far away from each other. They follow a light (butterfly we think if you watch butterfly effect) thinking in the end they all be together again. What happened as they followed that light is that "APPLE".

And there are fan videos discussing all the aspects, like the blue butterflies, running through time, how Eunha supposedly died in TftMN, the powers each girl was given,and so much more. And the apples, kicking off their last few videos, bringing temptation into the story, now that our girls are all grown up, they become witches, at the end of Apple, they grow horns!

I'm not sure) but in fingertips era they started to fight, envy of each other, kill each other. They die all. But one of the member "eunha" she is the only who alive and alone in her universe world. She want other member to back to her world and start a new world again. She using the butterfly for getting her member back, but keep fail. Gfriend is very versatile artist ,but if you want to know the story i think you should start with Rough-Navillera-Fingertip-Time for the moon night-Sunrise then you can go on with Crossroad and Apple. btw i love how you criticic the video 😭👌 thankyyouu youre so cool

I always recommend new people to listen to 'Rough' and 'Time for the moon Night' or u could go in order aswell to see their growth, eventhough u already watched the most recent ones! To get to know them better you can ofcourse watch unhelpfull guides but i also recommend to check out @leadersowon's youtube channel. There you can pretty much find everything! ok so Gfriend is now technically under BigHit entertainment, and one of BigHits goals was to have a storyline from each group which can then be linked together into one universe since Bang PD (the CEO of Bighit is a marvel fan). You will want to probably want to watch some theory videos to see each universe (BTS, TXT and Gfriend [only these groups]). the main theory revolves around magic island, glass beads (mostly in gfriend MVs but are in some of the other groups MVs) and butterflies (which we have only seen being used by Eunha).

so far... this is my favorite reaction for GFRIEND'S Apple... i really hope you check out the live performance stage of this (or the 1 the K version) gfriend's diversity can really be seen with all their title tracks,,, most especially if you decide to listen to their albums i suggest react to their early releases to see their organic growth as an artist...for starters go for Glass Bead, Me Gustas Tu, and Rough (school trilogy), then their top songs like Time for the Moon Night, Love Whisper, and Sunrise (vocals and choreography power), and their top tier songs FINGERTIP, Navillera, Sunny Summer, Summer Rain GFRIEND invented various concepts in the K-Industry that only them has pulled off...for APPLE it is called refreshing witch since it's a mix of the refreshing sound with a powerful fantasy-like performance you gained a subscriber because i see how you react purely...
