He is one of the four Finnish vocalists in Northern Kings, where Marko Hietala also sings. Check the "Jarkko Ahola - Nessun Dorma | Tähdet, tähdet | MTV3" in RU-vid, where he sing the Opera Aria with unbelievable singing with of course his Metal High note in the end :) It is from the "Tähdet, Tähdet" (in English it is "Stars, Stars") TV Show singing competition of entertainment value of multiple professional singers (Nightwish'es second vocalist Anette Olzon has taken part on one of the years competition). Also Jarkko Ahola's performance on Queen songs like "Jarkko Ahola Who Wants to Live Forever (Nightwish Rumor)" (and he has performed dozen of best Queens hits making them his own). Also he was rumoured to replace Marko Hietala in Nightwish as singing Bass player when Marko left.. A good one is also "Jarkko Ahola - Tears In Heaven" performed in the same Church concert in Finland, than this Walking in the Air - truly better than the original..
He is the one I've been asking for for a long time. He is from Finland. He is quite an amazing singer. He has had no vocal training what's so ever, he sings everything from opera to hard rock. He had a heavy band called Teräsbetoni. His Christmas church concert's are very popular. If you want to see more of him, Nessun Dorma, Adagio. He has two Christmas albums. He was also in Northern Kings, so his take on My Way is quite amazing. His range is unbelievable.
I think Jarkko said he has never taken any vocal lessons. When he sang "Nessun Dorma" in a TV-format where the competitors had to sing with many different styles, the boss lady of the Finnish National Opera gave him some advice. When he sang the song she was blown away.
Jarkko Ahola comes from Finland. He is a fiend of Marko(Nightwish), and they sing in a Finnish group called Northern Kings. This group really can sing, and if you are interested to hear divine men singing then it´s time to this group. Thank you both for reacting to Jarkko.
Some reactors call Jarkko "the son of Ronnie James Dio ". He is from Finland and have done a lot of different type of songs, all between metal and opera. Holy Diver, Nessun Dorma and Life on Mars is good songs. He is also in Northern Kings with Marko and 2 other guys. Check out their cover of Take on me
@@SueSueandthewolfman Have you 🤘reacted Northern Kings 'We dont need another hero'? Old grappy video & not so good audio sound. Worth of watch 🇫🇮👑(x4)🎶✨💙
Jarkko is a Finnish songwriter and the leader of the band Teräsbetoni. He is also one of the collaborators of Raskasta Joulua, the heavy Christmas project they do in Finland during the holidays. Elvis is timeless, isn’t he? Fun Kent factoid… I saw Elvis in concert. (Dating my self). June 1975, I was 10. My dad took my sister and I to a matinee concert in Hoffienz Pavilion in Houston. I wasn’t that impressed at the time. I saw him as an old fat guy that sweated a lot. But I liked a few songs. Grateful to having had that opportunity.
This is hands down my favorite version to "Walking in the Air". It was rumored that he could replace Marko of Nightwish, but that didn't happen. I can only imagine Jarkko and Floor collaborating for duets, or guesting to sing with Nightwish. It would literally be a dream come true. Thanks you two for reacting to this beautiful version.
Check out the same cover by Johanna Kurkela(Tuomas wife) and the Northern Kings guys. Can be found on RU-vid search " Johanna Kurkela, Jarkko Ahola, Tony Kakko and JP Leppäluoto - Avaruus 12/13"
Oh yay! This has made my morning. Jarkko was being suggested as Marko's replacement but he's happy doing his own thing. I love his cover of "it's a sin". Now we just wait for Finnish heavy Christmas!
@@SueSueandthewolfman There are already plenty of Christmas treats for you to unwrap in form videos from "Raskasta joulua" (Heavy Christmas) shows of previous years. I think you already reacted to Floor's version of "O Holy Night" and Floor and Marko singing "Ave Maria" but there are many others. You can search for "raskasta joulua" and see what you find, but just to give a few suggestions, take a look at these three: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2s_QgMCW9ks.html and ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xXgX05FcPwQ.html and also ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2HcA1kspYWY.html
Nice to see you Wolfman doing well! Jarkko is a male version of Floor. His range is out of this world! He is a metal guy, he is a church concert-guy, he is folk, rock, hard rock, soft rock, ballads......anything under the Sun. And he is part of "Northern Kings" with Marko, JP. Leppäluoto and Toni Kakko, the greatest "heawy quartet on Earth! A must see combo.
He is from Finland so same as Nightwish. There were rumours, when Marco left, that he would join Nightwish, but he does not play guitar, but boy he can sing.
From the style of the music your are doing, I think the French Melodic Death Metal band Aephanemer could fit you well. For example, the song "Panta Rhei". This band relies also well on keyboard layers.
