Jorge Negrete has the most powerful voice of any Mexican male singer up to this day. Just like Pedro Infante he was also an actor but a much better singer than an actor in the 1940s 1950s. He was a trained Opera singer but instead he decided to sing Mexican mariachi songs.

What a frivolous, superficial review. All she did was laughing at the movie, and say Negrete's beautiful, classical educated voice was just "strong". That's it. Nothing about the tremendous high note he achieved at the end of the song, nor his outstanding phrasing, color and clarity. A waste of time.
