FIRST Reaction to KIM JIN HO - Family Portrait | Immortal Songs 2 

I don't think he has that many songs. I don't exactly follow him. My other favourite from him is Saldaga (As I Live). Hope you can react on that and also SoHyang's version on the same video. SoHyang's version has Eng Sub. I don't believe you can find Kim Jin Ho version with Eng Sub unless you look for it in the program Immortal Song 2 where he made his performance. If you do react to both in one video, then you should do SoHyang's version first due to the cc.

FYI, in the video you saw two lady singers, they were his competitors and they were tearing up. The 2nd lady is a famous singer in Korea named Gummy. She just performed with her mum. After KJH performance, her mum told Gummy, you cannot rate this performance (both of them were crying). The sad part is, KJH did not win this competition. He lost to the guy (you see him last in the video) who sang with his dad. In the comment section of youtube, most felt that all performers performed exceedingly well, but many felt that KJH should have won hands down with his Family Portrait cos it was so heartfelt, emotional and delivered in the most beautiful manner.

웃음꽃이 미소 스마일을 의미한다는것 정도는 대부분 이해하겠지만 미소를 피운다라는걸 이해못하죠 우리는 웃음이 꽂처럼 아름답고 이쁘다고 꽃이 웃는다고 표현하고 그걸 더 밝게 활짝 큰미소를 짓는거처럼 짧은 단어로 피우길이라고 표현하지만 이걸 해석처럼 늘려버림 최대한 이해 가능한 문장은 나오겠지만 영어는 한 2~3줄 되야할꺼예요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

너무 아름다운 한국어 가사를 완벽히 번역을 할 수 없어 아쉬운건 사실인데 번역의 한계를 한국어의 우수성으로 바로 정해버리시네요.. 이런 국뽕은 해롭습니다.. 그리고 한글은 문자를 의미하는겁니다..

한국어가 대입해서 묘사하는 시적인 언어가 너무 많아서 다른 나라 언어로 담기에는 정말 어려운 아름다운 표현들이 많아요. 그게 그대로 전달되지 못 하는 게 많이 아쉽네요.

차라리 이런 건 단순한 단어들을 써가면서 visualize가 잘 되었으면 좋았을탠데 ㅠ.ㅜ

I agree it's really hard to translate Korean to English.

물론 외국어도 그렇겠지만 특히 한국어에는 속뜻인 말이 너무 많아서 그걸 이해하게 되면 노래가 전혀 달라지지요.... 번역은 사실관계 전달밖에 못하는 한계가 있으니까요... 한국어는 정말 속뜻이 깊지요. 푸른하늘... 푸르스름한 하늘... 시퍼런 하늘등 색깔의 표현도 무지 많지요... 외국인들이 보기에 '파랗다'에 방점이 찍히지만 우리는 그걸 다 구분하듯이 말이지요... 마치 이건 여성들이 화장품을 고를때 남성인 우리들에게는 다 같은 빨간색이지만 여성들은 그 차이를 구분하더라구요.. 이런 감성들이 한국의 언어에는 녹아 있다고 생각해요... 그래서 가끔 가요의 가사 번역을 보면 이 좋은 말들을 번역하는 한계가 아쉽다고 생각을 많이 하게되요.... 우리말은 감성을 전하는 디테일에 살아있어요... 그래서일까요... 우리는 '한'이라는 정서가 있는 이유라고 생각하기도 해요....

저도 영어자막 보면서 딱 이생각했는데.. 가사의 아름다움이 번역에선 느끼기가 힘들어서..

맞아요 한국어는 은유적인 표현 비유적인 표현 등등 문자 그대로의 뜻과 다르기도 해서 영어로 번역하기 힘든거 같아요

Yes as u may have notice we are doing a bit more of 2018 reaction, to get found easier. We actually reacted twice to Blackpink, GOT7, once to Day6, Momoland, and a few more, but it was mostly official MV so we got copyright (I just remove these videos after a while). We stopped doing MV after that because of that but also because we want to do live reaction not pre-recorded. So we want to do Kpop but it has to be live and be selective. If they are just there singing and dancing in sync it's hard to get to know them individually. So i'm not sure where to start. We love Blackpink, one member is from Thailand. Don't know anything about Twice, and BTS well they are BTS everyone know them :). If u have suggestions that u think would make sense let us know!

@@MaxSujyReact I am a blink unofficially lolz. I have seen many many Blackpink reactions and I really have no idea how they go around it. Any new comeback (I believe Twice is having one soon) generates alot of views. I follow BP so I know the crazy amount of views. Jennie Solo alone has more than 14 million views on the first 24 hours. After more than a month in RU-vid, it is still generating close to two million views a day. Quite a few reactors are getting a few hundred thousands to more than a million views just reacting to her. Blackpink as a group is even bigger than Jennie Solo. So watch out. Watch out for Blackpink and BTS new comeback and react to them as soon as they dropped. Have you watch BP predebut dance to BBHMM? 한국어를 똑같이나 거의비슷하게 의미전달해줄 언어는 이세상에없죠 영어로도 번역조차 안되고 그걸 알파벳문자로도 표현할수없죠 근데 그 어려운 한국어를 또 한글이 참 잘표현하죠 한국어랑 한글은 세상에서 가장 쉬운 문자이면서 가장 어려운 언어죠
