Great track, I definitely get some 70’s British heavy rock vibes here and you’re right, it pays dividends when an artist puts on a “show” rather than just turning up and playing the music like it’s a recording session!!! A slightly different sound, but Carousel would be good for the excellent MV.
If you want to see how good they are live , they just released Anxiety Kills The Beautiful from Rock Fest in Wisconsin . They put on a live show that is fantastic ! I was lucky enough to be at the shows this video is from . You can put them on any stage and they will kill it ! I have been to many of their shows and they never disappoint !
Hello my young friend. Liliac is just Liliac. They put themselves out on the Santa Monica pier for 5 years. I've always loved a live show. When I was studying clasical music in Syracuse New York in 1976, I'm old, there was a localish band that would play the larger stage bars. As a poor college student the cover cost us, however the show was worth it. Each set had a different theme and had pyrotechnics etc. I have always been a fan of Alice Cooper since 1972. I'll be checking one of his live shows on Halloween. That's where I see Liliac in the future on a much larger venues. Checkout Carousel 🎠 video and you'll see what I mean. I finally got to see them live in Spokane after Championing them for 5 years. They are very generous with their time with their Fangs. I got to meet the kids and shake Papa Liliac hand. A family affair. While I was reworking my audio for some friends, one new unreleased piece started to haunts me. My new favorite. It's Anxiety Killed the Beautiful. They just released their live from Rocklahoma performance of it. They are streaming that festival on Thanksgiving which I have the ticket to. I love both a live performance and what they do in studio. In the 80s I didn't enjoy the studio. Time was money and if you made a mistake they stopped the band and made you replay it. Big band. Lol Wish I had today's technology back then. Enjoyed the reaction. Peace. Stay safe. God Speed. FANG 4 LIFE! RORH 🍻❤️🤘🦇
Appreciate you for sharing Kenneth. I really enjoyed reading your comment. I found it very informative. I'm leaning towards their newest song being the next one I check out from them. But I'm sure Carousel won't be too far behind. I appreciate you my friend 🙏🧸🦇
Something extremely compelling about Melody's vocals. They all have a talent overload. If you want live recordings Mars live from Cumming Georgia. Also they have live videos from Mad Life which is a great listen. They sound as good or better live.
That's what I love to hear. I'm already pretty sold on recorded vocals and overall sound. Many are saying to give some love and attention to their newest single. Been leaning that direction for next. Appreciate you friend 🙏🧸
Okay now that you've heard how crazy, insane Melody is on vocals and Sam is on guitar, I hope that you check out a lot more of them. I suggest that one you would want to listen to even if you don't react to it, is Liliac playing "Master of Puppets" with Aidan Fisher, the stunt double of Eddie Munson from the TV show, Stranger Things, at their Madlife Stage & Studios concert in Woodstock, GA from October 2022. With Aidan as a special guest and Sam on stage for this last song of the night, the guitar work is amazing and then of course Melody goes from growls to screams. The rest of the group is their usual amazing selves and you just keep wanting to hear more. Covers or originals. Thanks for the Reaction, dude.
The lead singer and lead guitarist cut their hair to donate it to children with cancer. If you like live, they have Mars, live in Cumming, GA 2019. They also have a full concert of their originals live at Madlife.
I know EXACTLY Where Cumming GA is. I have probably been to the venue the video was filmed at. Thanks for sharing the bit about the hair. REALLY Love that. My Best friend has done something similar every year for the past 15 years. He's got much better hair than I 😂
@@JohnnyFoxtrotshow Melody is a big fan of DIO. She has made many short videos of DIO. When he sang with Black Sabbath, Rainbow and When he got solo. The family is friends whit Vinnie Appice (he played drums for DIO) and Wendy Dio. The Last in Line cover they do is a request from Wendy. Vinnie calls her the female version of Dio. She sings Country Girl whit Vinnie Appice's Sabbath Knights and Stargazer whit a band called Cincinnati Vampires. Check her short video of Madness then you get an idea of here range
Why not give their latest live video "Anxiety Kills the Beautiful" some reaction time. This an original unreleased song. For a cover reaction, Black Sabbath's "Heaven and Hell" is a nice fit.
@@JohnnyFoxtrotshow "The Purge" is a showcasing of her most recent screaming capability. Sick Like Me, Big Bad Wolf (some epic screams here), Dirty Pretty are all a bit older but fire.
🧸🧸🧸Great reaction. Melody catches flack for her expression, theatrics but I like it. Great front men have done it for years. Freddy Mercury, Mick Jaeger, Axel Rose etc. I just don't get it when they say she should just stand there and sing. She gets her inspiration from Ronnie James Dio, talk about theatrics Ronnie had it in spades. Again great review. And the beef is silly. I think at the time Melody said the Warning could open for them they were at similar point in there careers. Right about the time the Warning got label money and exposure. At that point i agree with Melody 💯. The Warning should open for Liliac.
