They just released a live video of a brand new original song yesterday "Anxiety Kills the Beautiful" and it's possibly their best yet. The sound is so good there's no need for a studio version.
Liliac kicks serious ass. Caught their set this year at Rocklahoma, and came away *very* impressed. This is a family band, by the way - they're all siblings :) For a good starting point of their own music, I think I'd point you at "We Are the Children", off of their second album. It gives a good sample of their sound, and it's older in their catalog, so you'll get a baseline from which to see their progress.

You might want to listen to the extended version of "Not Afraid" (original) which shows off even more of Melody's vocal abilities with her whistle screams. She is a beast on vocals whether she's doing Metal/Heavy Rock or something softer like the ballad "Sail Away" (original). Their new song "Breathe" (original) shows some of their versatility instrumentally as all five of them are multi-instrumentalist. Now the drummer Abby got married and is currently expecting a baby so in this song a young teenage guy is filling in for her. The one great thing about this band is they are not allowing anything or anyone putting them into a musical box. I think this is wonderful as it allows them to grow in different ways that other groups never will. Their covers and their originals are really good to me. But like with any group, I like some songs better than others. Overall though there is an insane amount of talent there when they take the stage or go into the studio. Their catalog on RU-vid is so diverse that I have to say that with my eclectic taste in music, I absolutely LOVE them. And yes, I like The Warning as well, but Liliac is more tuned toward my overall musical taste. You have a new subscriber.

It's a family. I found liliac when they were kids. While I was watching The Warning.. This is a very good, Independent band. The vocalist is unmatched . Try their cover of "Last in line" Dio Cancer fund tribute, official video..It's awesome.. The guitarist is one of the best.. 🌎✌️

This video is one of their first few. Released in like 2017, I think. So add 7 years to these kids. That keyboardist there, Justin, is now 15 , I believe, and has a deeper voice than his older two brothers. The oldest, Sam, the guitar player, is about 26 now i believe. The other guitarist, Ethan, plays bass now, and has so since not long after they released their first EP.

I like Liliac, regardless of any disagreement with others. Personally, I think Carousel is as good as any to check out next, it’s got a good MV too. If you want covers, I’ll (again!) point you at Nemophila, they’ve got some superb covers of Iron Maiden, Kiss, AC/DC and loads more. The Trooper might be a good choice, especially as you like happy, smiley drummers!!!!

It really depends on which way you want to go. They have a 6 song EP out "Chain Of Thorns' a 13 song LP Queen Of Hearts" snd their current Album "Madness" deoends on how you want to see their progression up to this point i recommend going backward to forward maybe. The covers they fo are extensive everything from Jefferson Airplanes "Someone To Love" To Metallica Songs, quite s few Dio/Tribute songs and the list goes on i mean go to there page and choose songs you like as the covers go we can give you suggestions for the others.

I disagree. I can't get into The Warning at all. Their vocals are just subpar to me. And their playing isn't much better. Liliac is so much more of a tighter band than The Warning could ever be.
I remember , when Liliac had around half million subs , The Warning had less than 300k. Nowadays , is 800k plus for the three sisters and less than 600k for the five bros and sis.

@@JohnnyFoxtrotshow some one once asker them if they heard of the warning and melody said yes. And then asked if the would tour or do a show and she said that the warning would open for them. And every now and then some of thier would post hate comments on thier videos or a reactor video.
@@JohnnyFoxtrotshow as I remeber a few years back they were on an interview, and the interviewer asked them what would they think about opening for The Warning, and the lead singer answered that some day The Warning will be opening for them, we know that is never going to happen!!, after that, The Warning Army has had some resentment with them, the lead singer even had to apologyze to ease all the bad comments they were getting, The Warning of course never commented or said anything about this, not long ago I even saw a picture of The Warning with the guitar player, that's how classy The Warning is, sorry Liliac fans but that is just the way it is!

Johnny, Try an original " Carousel " by Liliac when they are a little older. I love Liliac, but they are an American Family band as The Warning is a Mexican family band ( all brothers and sisters). They have beef with The Warning as has been recorded in the past. Just competitive juices. LOL.

If you're looking for good covers, the young band Plush has a coupla great ones (plus great originals). Barracuda by Heart, many believe it's the best cover ever of that song and Down in a Hole by AIC. Two of the best covers I've heard. Plush has toured with The Warning, Disturbed, AIC, etc so you know they're good. Lead singer Moriah Formica has a fantastic voice! She also tours during Nov-Dec with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra as a vocalist.🔥

Hello. First time you're on my cue. I personally cannot listen to the Warning because of their lables bad form. That being said, yes, they are a family brothers and sisters band. Busked on the pier for 5 years very young putting themselves out there. This band is fully independent. I finally got to see them perform in Spokane in August. They performed mostly originals released and a few unreleased. They still do a few of their iconic covers. 7th Nation Army, Holy Diver, Heaven and Hell and of course Crazy Train. I held my Liliac Bat up high when MeloDia held her newer bat up. Lol I have an original. Lol I'm 66 so, I'm old. Just for fun, if its still up, check out the 3 eldest vlog of Saving Rockin Roll. Shows you their heart and soul. They are very generous with their time. Got to meet the kids and i shook Papa Liliacs hand. Plus, I love MeloDias blessing at the end of each show. Not sure what you mean about The Warning's label and bad form. They only have 2 albums under Lava records and Dany, Pau and Ale made sure they got to keep all the rights to their music and have creative control, they held out for years refusing to sign with other labels until they got the terms that meant they stayed in control. However I am glad you found and appreciate Liliac, they are an amazing family and band. I kicked in on their Kickstarter for their album Queen of Hearts. I love their style and their music I have a signed copy of Chain of Thorns CD to go along with Queen of Hearts, their covers were amazing, but their originals are also really good. The guy at the start of the video in the suit and tie is Stewart Coplend of the Police. Try Dancing in The Dark , Carousel, We are The Children, for originals . For another great cover , Last in Line , Holy Diver.
Their own songs are, for me anyway, okay but lacking the originality of, say, The Warning. Which is sad, because they look the part and can play great.
Not a big fan of her singing either and haven't been particularly impressed w/their originals. This was a great cover though, from several years back now, and lead guitar can still shred!

We're fans of both bands however some can't let go of a immature mistake by Melo, and that's all that has caused all the distane since it happened over 4 years ago. I hear you too my friend. I'm All for Forgiving and Letting Go. It's all in the past but everyone can feel how they feel. I just lean on the side of a young kid making a young kid comment and we have to forgive kids for being kids. I appreciate you both 🙏🧸
