I think the guy will love it after it is installed. My first sub was a p3 12 on a Memphis pr500.1 and it sounded so great until I got attached with the bass and got 2 12s and then 2 15s. That's how we all start off and then the bass is a need.

What size and bolt pattern did you use for the battery to engine block ground? Its a perfect empty spot...i have same year Accord. Please let me know so my big 3 can be done.

Your attention to detail and perfectionism is greatly underappreciated especially in the audio business. Most guys just shove all the wires and shit behind the dash and act as if the owner will never take apart his dash. But you have amazing quality of work. A good place for the ground is under the carpet behind the back seat (the part that overlap the gap between the trunk floor) there should be a spot ready to just bolt the ground .

I have a 2006 accord and a box for 2 12s fits perfectly in the trunk, leaving nearly a foot and a half for stuff in the trunk, as well as tons of room behind the rear seats. even with cheap pyle subs on 300rms it sounds decent.

This install brought back memories of my old 01 honda accord manual 4cylinders with the system i install my self 👍🏼💯

I got a 97 CRV with a simular OEM head unit. I was acually shocked at the amount of output it has for 20 year old garbage. Needs Alot of work before I replace the sound system. I come here to dream a bit.

On alot of the newer vehicles, when I am running the doors/ deck speakers off of an amp I run speaker wire from the amp to the rear area of the headunit and solder them to the adapter harness ( not factory wiring but the wires you usually connect to the headunit output). That way if the owner wants thier stereo out when they sell it or whatever, simple connection to make the headunit power door speakers again or pop back in factory stuff easily. Most newer cars have 14-16 gauge factory wiring anyways. Whats your thoughts on doing it that way Steve? I even have it that way in my blazer with 110 to each of my mids and cant tell if its not as good as running new wire ti each one

Will the big 3 put less strain on the alternator? I got a 2003 camry with a 80amp alternator powering a Rockford fosgate tb1000.1bd two 12s 300rms...600 watts peak power... running 2ohm... want to be on the safe side and not strain my alternator....Battery dies fast too and sometime rough starts can the alternator be struggling charging my battery? when bassing hard 11.86volts from battery with head lights on and A/C on idle..Sometimes lighting dims slighty.. Maybe I should look into a better battery?

Is it safe to have those positive terminal exposed when doing the Big-3 and the fuse holder beside the battery ? maybe the fuse holder design could use an upgrade with a cover of some how and those positive terminals be in a sleeve in addition to the heatshrink Video quality and content : 10/10

Does it matter where you bolt the ground from the engine block to the frame? Can I just use the bolt from the alternator bracket or do you have to use the factory location? I’m asking because the factory ground strap is buried way under everything in the back against the firewall.
