I bought this bike about a month ago and it is a beast! I made a few adjustments to the suspension that fits my riding style and I have no complaints. This bike is definitely a keeper...
@@David-lx6yc yeah what’s the difference is there any difference in top end speed ? i’m thinking about getting one real soon but ima be using it for desert riding
JDC91 if you want aesthetics quit wasting your time and get on a harley already. Dual exhaust is all asthetic and it makes the bike slower. Check out the test for the fmf single mufler conversion big weight loss and power increase.
jimmy smyth as much as we all hate to admit it , we buy these fmf pipes and parts to look cool , stock 450 has way more power than any of us can use , I love seeing a slow ass guy at the track telling me about how the cone valve forks and traxs shock is awesome and how his new acrapovic exhaust is the best 😂 looks cool in the pits though !! That stock Honda is race ready ! Don't get caught up in all the marketing making idiots spend ridiculous money on parts that barely increase performance on an already sweet bike !
Yeah I'm sorry bro, but no matter how fast you think you are, you aren't fast enough to be using all of that power anyway. Even the pro's aren't tapping these big bore's out most of the time. For an average Joe-blow like the rest of us, just choose the bike you like the look and colour of, and be happy with that.
Looks like a KX450, only a different colour. I noticed a lot of comments say dual exhaust looks gimmicky, but it must help, as Honda would not have included it.
Kenny is racing and Cole is coming back next season, who are you talking about that never raced again? Ernesto Fonseca is the only Honda rider i can think of who never raced again post injury.
rico - So you praise the 450 Honda everyone hated while posting crap about this one that everyone seems to like while you making up Honda factory riders with career ending injuries that never happened. Son you need to seek help as you are clearly not in touch with reality.
Sleepy .Time I think most people that owned the 09 liked it. You know why? Because most of us aren't pro riders, most of us won't notice the difference, most of us won't ride every bike released that year. The main issue with the 09 crf 450 was sorted with a good tune, which they implemented in the 10. As mentioned, casual weekend warrior here, I liked my bike.
My observation was prior to any major mags testing the bikes. I think Kawasaki is the best out all of the bikes for 2019. Honda was great in the 80's then lost their drive for innovation. They're catching up to the European bikes it only took 30+ years.
Wait what? It doesn't come with a kickstarter anymore? I'm not buying Japanese bikes anymore unless I can find one that is kickstart or can be converted to kickstart.
I would think other than weight there are advantages to the dual exhaust on a 450. No sense running your exhaust through the same internal dimension silencer as the 250F.
You could save a lot of weight by having a Taiwan Carbon bicycle component company make things like: the sub frame, rims, shift lever, brake pedal, mufflers, etc.. Cheaper lighter stronger

Yeah but your supposed to lavish hrc treats all over the 2019. I mean what ya expect for 10 grand, did you think it was a national std bike, you have to cover all riders, all weights, all tracks so whatll you'll get is a bike to get on to go and fight forest fires. If ya did not know that perhaps you should take up trials riding.
Honda nooooo 😩 why do you have to go be puttin sensors and bs on these bikes. Efi was tolerable for me but shift sensor, maps, and launch control. Really? I’ll stick with my easy, simple, more powerful two strokes. It’s not only Honda Yamaha has freakin Bluetooth on there 4 strokes. My two stroke is 32 years old. These new 4 strokes won’t make it 10.
That bike looked so soft I think I'm gonna hurl. ....yeah its like Honda just keep bringing out the same bike but with new stickers .... And that's kinda sad.
