That was me, I never really wear a helmet.. Never really have in my 40+ years of riding and hundreds of thousands of miles rode.. Only in really cold weather, I may put one on.
@@sp00ky1969 Do you live here in the states? I know some states require helmets. My sons all wear them. I taught them all how to ride since age 2 and 3 years old.
As a road bike … forgetting about tracking it… the Panagale v4 or the Streetfighter v4? I’ve tried both but the SFV4 is on my radar. Just seems like it could be ridden all day. The Pani wasn’t uncomfortable but I don’t know how it’d feel on an all day stint 🤷♂️ I mean what can you expect really from a sport bike. Comfort and positioning are secondary thoughts I suppose
Funny, I had a GP Shift on my R1, then i bought a HD, I kept confusing up and downshifts between bikes, eventually, I switched my R1 back to the normal shift. And, now,, I only have a Ducati V4S.. More power to you for starting a you tube channel..
i really like GP shift it took me a little to get used to it but i really prefer it! & that’s awesome, what year is your V4S? & thank you buddy! i’ve been wanting to do this for a long time & im glad i finally did! if you’d care to, check out my instagram & tiktok @motorradboy21
You’re enthusiasm is obvious and it’s good to see. Lovely bikes. I’ve got the SP2, which is basically the same bike. Wait until you pin the throttle - I think I managed a couple of seconds. 😂 I’m looking forward to seeing what mods you do to it. I’m about to decide on which exhaust to go for. Pet peeve… it’s AkApovic, not AkrOpavic… 🤪 It’s definitely worth getting it on track - there’s only so much you can explore what the bike can do on the road. Subbed. 👍
i greatly appreciate you watching & subscribing, thank you! & it’s an absolute blast, what a phenomenal bike the V4’s are! & hell yeah, the SP2 is an absolute gem congratulations to you on that! but definitely stay tuned, i have stuff coming shortly! & hahaha i get into the discussion of how to pronounce akrapovic more than i’d like 😂 but yes definitely looking forward to getting it on the track & seeing how it compares to my R1! 🤔
@@demisx True. There’s no emphasis on any letters and all letters are pronounced (phonetic). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KpezLupIFGQ.html Maybe people don’t like saying the ‘crap’ part of the name. 😂
Nice bro. Felt the same when I got my Aprilia 1100 Factory which is my fav bike ALL TIME. The V4S is going to be a nice addition to my stable of V4's Have an R1M to boot. Have to have it.
@@motorradboy21. Bruh, I am not a religious man in any way, shape, form, or means but this bike got my attention like a kick in the nuts. I mean, OH MY F'in gawd!! The V4S is the only other bike to do that. Step 1, update the pipe and ENJOY!!!! They are so so so pretty!
@@theboombapp6351 i have the full titanium akrapovic underbelly system on it right now! it’s absolutely amazing!!! but i’m right there with you, i’ve heard so many great things about the RSV4’s i’ve rode my friends very very briefly & really enjoyed it but i want to ride one so more & really get the chance to enjoy it!
When people first see this video and you're riding, and talking about how fast and smooth it pulls, they probably think it's your first 1000cc bike and have nothing to compare it too. we need to remember you have 3 other liter bikes before this one :)
Im happy for you 😊 🏍 - I know the feeling, its amazing, freedom and on a Penigale V4s = 💯 - My read bauty im sooo happy about. (My 2nd now) - Wish you maaany nice rides on your new Ducati 😊🏍 - Greetings from me in Norway (finaly spring here so i had 2 rides already even its a bit cold yet)
thank you very much! 🙌🏼 & i’m ecstatic about this awesome machine! i’m waiting for the weather here to warm up as well so i can finally start riding lol. & what two Ducati’s have you owned?
@@motorradboy21 Of course you are ecstatic 😁. I Have the same as you Penigale V4S. Maby not the best for long rides for days, but its worth it 💯. Then we both wait for the weather to warm.up. Soon we ridin 😁😁🏍🏍
@@laila-holm that’s so awesome! & it isn’t exactly no but the performance is top notch, it is well worth it! 💪🏼 & yes hopefully soon the weather gets warm! 🤞🏼
Great video. How is the 2023 Panigale V4 holding in terms of heat so far? Is it rideable in city without getting extremely hot like previous years models? Please if you could provide me in detail on the heat it would really help as I'm thinking to purchase the 2023 but holding back because of heat issues. Thanks.
thank you! & it does run hot, as the V4’s produce a lot of heat in general. city riding it does get pretty warm but it still manages to ride well when doing so but i find the heat to be manageable! i think if you purchased one you’d absolutely love it! i sure do love mine ✊🏼
I live in South Florida, my 1st ride from the dealer, the heat truly bummed me out, everything else was definitely an upgrade from my tuned R1. My Solution, is to wear kevlar lined riding pants, problem solved. I've been riding it in the peak of the summer, and in traffic, with the kevlar lined pants, it's really now a non issue for me. Been riding in mid 90's, with a heat index of like 108. The trick is the pants, and hey, they make it safer. I already had the pants. I wear a flex able knee brace to cover my inner upper left calf where the kevlar ends, but just on the left side, not really necessary.. I know many, probably think, it's not worth it, but honestly, The Ducati is such a refined improvement over my R1, and I'm riding in extreme weather, with stock pipes, u know, the Cat Heater. Suspension, and shifting, not even comparable to my R1, so much smoother on the V4S.
@@happyness5293 i feel ya! i wear kevlar lined pants as well & it definitely helps having a solid pair of pants on! i do agree the V4S is an upgrade from the R1 but the R1 still is very unique & i absolutely love mine!
my friend, its shocking to see your father without helmet, its useless gamble with life. And you only with sweater. Such a motorcycle is ridden in racing overalls....
some people are very taken back by it, he’s actually rode the majority of his life without wearing one & yes typically i’m wearing a bit more gear but this day i wasn’t. i appreciate the concern & thank you for watching! ✊🏼
