Tested the sigma and Summicron 35-50 -!: I settled for the sigmas. I did not experience different performance and in fact better results at time. I went for the sigmas because of image quality they are Lighter, smaller, they have aperture ring and MF-AF switch which made the shooting experience way faster more in line when I shoot with an M body. Good luck with a channel. We all started from zero subscribers. You are doing good man. Just keep it up and don’t apologize too much.
Thank you Gaston! Much appreciated….ive been following you since I had my Sony A73. I borrowed the sigma 70-200 and it worked amazing. Ended up picking it up.
Hi Constantine, perhaps you can help me. I have a Sony A7iii with lenses from 16-35 to 70-200. Im considering to switch to Leica SL3 and a 24-70. The A7iii is amazing and still a lot of bang for the buck, but Ive had it for six years and need to upgrade.. Im a hobbyist and shoot travel, portraits, abandoned, vintage cars and some sports. I understand you have used A1, A75, R5 and SL3, which one of you enjoy the most? Ive seen some of your shots and you take beautiful portraits.
That’s a tough one…I really believe that you should have some emotional attachment yo your camera and enjoy picking it up. You can’t go wrong with either system. This may sound weird but the Canon system is probably the most expensive right now when you factor the glass. The Leica SL3 may be pricey at first but you can get sigma and Panasonic glass …sigma makes great stuff! I would highly recommend you rent or try them out at a store and see how they feel. Find the body that feels the best ergonomics and the UI.
