The "Ole Man" is a sucker for a good deal! Is this a worthy ride for a couple grand? Did he find a good deal with this Oldsmobile? Will it even run after sitting for long enough for the wheels to rust? Will an internal pump work externally? We will burn it down to the ground? All these questions answered on this episode of RevStoration.

I have had 4 90’s Oldsmobile’s. One 4 cylinder and 3 6 cylinder’s. The 6 cylinder’s are the better engine, but the 4 was good too. The 3.8 6 cylinder olds is the best engine ever. These old GM’s are good, comfortable, reliable, economical cars. A/c on all 4 froze you out. That car will clean up nice. Put new tires on it and get her going and roll. Good car!

I was running this saw for about 2 hours at about a 30-50% duty cycle ru-vid.comUgkxfQm1wmg0ItKDLavxj1nXtQY9HP7EF504 and it did a great job. I used the lever for the built in sharpener to clear chip buildup out more than to actually sharpen the chain. It managed to cut some hardwood stumps much larger than it's size without bothering the neighbors with hours of 2 stroke noise.

I paid 1500 dollars for a 94 Cutlass Ciera about eight years ago, and between me driving it to work and my daughter driving it to collage, we got way more use out of it than 1500 dollars worth! It was a decent little car. Todd the retired trucker.

These newer gms are known for noisy power steering pumps and rack and pinion. It sounds like the power steering pump has no fluid in it. Serpentine tensioner pulley bearing sometimes go dry when laid up. You can remove the dust seals and regressed the bearing. If it's not gone too bad. I've owned several of these midsized cars. The 2.2 to 2.4 engines are excellent engines if maintained properly. I owned a 92 cavalier it had over 400.000 miles on it when I sold the car. The new owner put another 100.000 miles on it before it finally quit.

You said exactly what I do, I buy 2-3 thousand dollar trucks from individuals after shopping around. I never have payments. My 01 GMC Sonoma I paid 2800 for 5 years ago, it had 140 thousand on it. . It runs perfectly right now with almost 225 on it. I got a 98 Ranger I bought 3 years ago that only had 100 thousand on it. They both are manuals and these kids today can’t drive a manual so if you shop around, you can find good deals.

I had 1 just like it except it was blue. It had 400 thousand miles on it when my sister traded it in. It still didn’t use any oil but everything else was worn slap out. My mother in law gave it to us it had almost 300 thousand, my wife drove it 2 years, I gave it to my baby sister she drove it until she bought something newer. I then gave it to another sister and she drove the wheels off it for 2 years before she finally traded it in on a Nissan. Battery and a alternator was all we ever had to put on it.

If y'all ever were to sell this car I would like to get my hands on it they ride very smooth and good gas Mileage being the 4cyl and it's hard to find the cars in good shape most are beat to pieces by some young kid or used as a newspaper car or just something like that I see a lot of them at the junkyard

Rev this is no lie...I'm in my 50s but when I was a young boy my friend and I used to like exploring in the woods. Finding old creeks and things. One day I decided to sorta borrow dads machete, that I wasn't supposed to have, and went thru the woods cutting everything. We came up on this big ole oak tree with what we thought was a good swinging vine to swing across the creek. Well, I ended up missing a week of school because I had poison oak from head to toe and EVERYWHERE in between if you know what I mean. I never did anymore swinging after that. 😂😂😂 Appreciate you fine folks. God Bless ❤

Excellent video Rev :) , Ole Man Eugene :) that 2.2 or 2.3 Echo Tech 4 cylinder dipstick are for Engine Oil confuse my late Old Man Don to till showing him and he said what on earth design that ! Also was on 1994 Chevrolet Calavier 4 door car my mom bought brand new and new ECHO TECH made in 2002 to 2010 on 2.2 litre 4 cylinder they put Yellow cap pull ring with twist rebar with zinc metal tip to check engine oil with add 4 quarts of oil in them with Synthetic type or Conventional type 10w30! Side post battery connections are horrible especially in Station Wagon on 1970's to 2010 ! I never like so hard get when battery charging or boost them too! Also Rev :) and family I tell worst on Echo Tech motor is oil filter located and Coil Pack for Spark plugs wire need put up ramps to get at back engine to and head gasket do ever 160.000 kms and plus do water pump plus gasket ever 80.000 kms and thermostat! Do Supertine engine every 3 years too and also fuel filter to! But easy is air filter and O2 sensor also Alternator too! Also do fuel filter to yearly and clean up fender on pig ground cable clean up from corrosion ever year and lube up ! We're you squirt fuel Rev and is were 4 injectors are plus running power to so be careful or fire 🔥 motor be ! Also PCV Valve in right side on the top valve cover in angle with hose take then metal one goes in !
