He’s lost 10 straight games to the Nuggets. At some point, coaching strategy and gameplan against the Nuggets has to be questioned. No other team in the league has not beaten that team at least once over that span. When you blow multiple double digit leads against the same team multiple times during the season as well as last playoffs, coaching should be questioned.

Lakers do dumb things when they get big leads. You shouldn't need a head coach to tell you to lay off the 3's when you're up by 20, you shouldn't need a head coach to tell you to slow the pace down or use the shot clock to your advantage. All the basic things a team should do to protect their lead is all the things the Lakers DON'T do.

And that was the year draymond decided to destroy their team chemistry by punching his teammate so yea I’d say they had a lot of shit going on. It just didn’t work against the Nuggets because they were the first good team the lakers played in the playoffs. This is all readily available information. That game was lost 2 ways. The 5 minute scoring drought, and going away from AD. AD only took 1 shot in the 4th. When someone is that hot keep giving him touches. They didn’t adjust to switching Gordon on AD and the offense got stagnant by not running the pick and roll anymore.

Coach Ham will be Lebron's latest sacrificial lamb. The truth is in the first half of Game 2 AD had 30 points and Lebron had 12 assists. In the second half AD had 2 points and Lebron had 0 assists. You cannot possibly believe that sliding Gordon over to AD was the reason for this huge drop-off in the second half because the real reason is the man bringing the ball up the court for LA who decided to put the second half on his shoulders instead of continuing the amazing offensive flow they had in the first. The result? Lebron silenced his G1 critics and scored 12 points in the fourth quarter BUT this approach resulted in the Lakers only scoring a total of 40 points in the second half. You're not going to win that many games on the road in the playoffs like that. It is sad given how many examples of how better the Lakers could be if they resisted the temptation of letting their "King" be the focal point of their offense. They will win G3 at home if Coach Ham recognizes the numbers above and finds a way to get Lebron to feed AD early and late if he doesn't and lets Lebron run his game he will be fired. Reply
Darvin ham has not been able to adjust to what denver is doing. Going home last game with two timeouts in your pocket is pathetic. He cant call a timeout out when denver goes on a 14 pt run for what reason. The lakers have to win in spite of darvin ham. Not because of him. I have watched every lakers game this season and Ham aint it. Rotations are terrible, randomly throws out 3 guard lineups whenever they’re clicking, doesn’t call timeouts at the right time when other teams goes on runs and lets not forget he started cam reddish, prince, and vando over rui, Dlo, and Reaves for big stretches at the begging of the season like he isn’t a head coach caliber dude in the nba and im sure most lakers fans would agree

First of all I want to start out saying I think Darvin Ham is a good coach but good isn't good enough against a great team. You have to be great to win a championship. I really like Ham but when you go up 20 points you have breathing room to let your young players play and see what they can bring to the table. Everyone deserves to play. They all participated in you making it to the playoffs and it allows your other players to get the rest they need, until you need them in the 4th quarter. I still don't think the series is over and still know the Lakers are the better team. Darvin Ham trust your whole roster. Lakers lost the first game because DLo, AR, Rui and ths bench failed to turn up. Lakers lost the 2nd match, because AR, Rui and the bench no showed again! Lakers lost both games because the Nuggets are a better and wholly consistent team. The king only ever struggles against good teams.
