I been saying this, these QBs making too much. Dak is good but he needs a lot of help. Hurts is on a short rope and will be in a similar situation. When that time comes if he don’t produce ✌🏼it takes a team to win or your Qb needs to be elite to get over that hump.

I’m going back as far as since 2000. Not even 5 qbs taken outside of the first 2 rounds of the draft have won a superbowl let alone reached it perhaps. Most of the time, we see high draft picks busts because of terrible development and philosophy. Your qb come playoff time has to be talented enough to be the DIFFERENCE MAKER like even Bart Scott acknowledged. Cowboys spent 20 of 28 years fooling around with the Romo’s and Daks. People forget that it’s a business like anywhere else and players get compensated based on performance just like we do out our jobs. Dak has had all the talent around him and he just simply isn’t talented enough to get it done. Now if he wants to reset the market then he’s going to have to play with less around him and meet expectations. If not, take 40-45 million a year get your team to the Super Bowl. Well he won’t take less money, and he’s had all the talent around him so, this why it’s very likely this is his last year in Dallas.

Jerry being polarizing is one thing but he misses the small details that’s needed to win, but it’s crazy because he and his front office crew puts the talent good enough to at least make some noise in the post season. I know they are cheap in free agency and always looking for the bargain steals, which I hate that concept but I get it sort of. Like the Eagles front office, you can’t live in fear , you have to acknowledge the hand writing on the wall and take the risk in order to get anywhere. dak can help get you to the playoffs. he isn't a champ qb. and with the cowboys pushing the can down the road, we can't splash. but in a contract year, dak has to prove he's a baller now. he stiffed up last time around but hasn't actually hit the mark. so now he's gotta prove it. if he does....i doubt...he gets paid. but with the risk of saying peacing himself out.
Its the truth. Stop trying to look to deep into it. Jerry already over pays for his own players he drafts because they don't use free agency. The cap money is all tied up in players dallas drafts. The problem now is the dallas cap is so top heavy around like 4 guys and it will get worse if they give dak 60 million per year. So the team will get worse if they give dak this huge deal and they wont be able to pay players for other positions. Its just not worth it. Your better drafting a QB and playing for 5 years with a QB on a rookie deal like they did with Dak his first 5 years. That way you can at least build around the other QB. The way it is now they can't afford to build around Dak due to the lousy cap situation. The jones family doesn't know what they are doing with the salary cap. I agree with a post i just read below. Stop going to games, buying tickets, merchandise, and watching them on TV. I would love for Jerry to sell the team. We shouldn't have to deal with the cheap son Stephen after jerry dies.
