Like the valve design on that mat. It's not so good having to use one's breath to top up though is there any way to use a pump of any kind. Our Exped megamat duo takes about 15 minuutes to fully deflate and pack but its worth it never cold and sideways sleeping is totally comfortable. Winter/summer sides is a nice touch. If the Exped failed this looks like a worthy replacement.
Yes, I agree with you. Unfortunately, I don't know of a pump attachment. We inflated the tent with an Outwell hand pump. It would have been good to be able to attach that pump to this mat too.
The outwelĺ Dreamboat, are no 1 self inflated madras. The are expensive, but nowbody cares! A Tips. For afterfill it with aìr, take outand put in the sun! Best Regards Peter Eriksson, Orsa Sweden
Thanks Dan. No, I can't find what a maximum weight is for the bed either. I had a look at all the information I have, and it doesn't say. I'll continue to look, and let you know if I find anything.
This is what I’m curious about to be honest. I’m on the more than chunky side I’d say, so need something sturdy. Any suggestions appreciated! We have just bought a couple of cheap air beds for this weekends venture but definitely want something for the longer term. Even if it’s a fishing bedchair or something of the kind. Thanks!
Have you tried putting 2 of the single straight sided mats together to make a double, with a double fitted sheet? I've heard some have integrated straps to help keep them together but haven't been able to find that.
