😂😂😂😂 me too bro me too I'm sitting here thinking oh my God if the Mavericks somehow someway get to the NBA finals that Banner number 18 is as good as ours and the whole NBA fan base except for Boston fans are going to be royally pissed and I'm just going to laugh my ass off
@@fate8718the 70% would hold a little more weight if the lakers outscored the nuggets for any one of the 5 2nd half they played, but getting crushed every single second half to such an extent that you only held onto a single double digit lead in the first half implies the other team isn’t taking you serious, not that you’re presenting a challenge to the other team.
Id love to see Nick try to explain why Boston obliterated the Mavs last 5 6 times. I remember some nasty blowouts, JB dropping Luka and Tatum dominating.
His logic is that their path is super tough. They beat the Lakers in 5 but 2 key players got some nagging injuries during that series. They’re about to play a far superior defensive team in round 2 and if the do make the WCF they have to play either SGA and Chet or Luka and Kyrie. Mavs only have 1 notch higher but I think it comes down to thinking that OKC just isn’t experienced enough to beat the Mavs. Luka will be the best player on the court and if you have Kyrie as the 3rd best, there’s a huge gap between Kyrie and whoever the 4th best player in the series is.
Nah facts im going for Dallas but they are too high on them rn I mean probably bc the thunder are young but they’re still very dangerous and should be favored against Dallas
@@oblivionpro69 I have been paying attention. Going on a hot run does not a favorite make. They've been fighting tooth and nail with a team that's missing its best player, and they are a 5th seed. They do not deserve the second best odds, period.
Which is why 25 is ridiculously low for them. Vegas has them at over 50. I think Nick would concede 85% plus that they make it to finals..so 25 means he'd heavily pick against them in finals? I get picking against them but heavily against a team that just set NBA records during regular season? This pie won't age well. Don't think they're too mathematically literate and understand implications, just how much love am I feelin for this team etc
@@YG-do3dg it should be minimum 50% Boston. Just because they are cruising through the East at minimum. That’s half a chance to win the finals. He’s essentially saying the Knicks or Pacers have a 50/50 shot to beat Boston.
Phoenix swept Minny in the regular season, Minny swept Phoenix in the Playoffs OKC beat Denver three times out of four in the regular season. That doesn't mean anything in the playoffs. playoffs is a 0-0 game
As a Celtics fan i think OKC is gonna beat dallas if they get to play each other ✍️.... Denver vs Minnesota is gonna be very interesting ..... Knicks 8% Dallas 12% OKC 13% Wolves 17% Denver 18% Celtics 25%
These boys don't seem to be mathematically literate. It's not thought out odds, just how much love am I feelin for this team. 25 for Boston with their path?? Vegas got them at over 50%. More than DOUBLE your "thought out" love points system..
The Nuggets should have gotten the same comment that the Pacers got... they didn't play well at all and still managed to handle their opponent properly. In Nick's mind... the Lakers actually gave them a run in their top form
@@GrimiestGurber i agree idk why nick want luka and bron always in the mix more than they should mavs not beating denver or minnesota even if they beat the clips/thunder Lol
WTF has Minnesota ever done? The Mavs have at least been to the WCF, and wolves have to go through Denver. He actually “be sounding about right” with that take
The Spurs never won back-to-back with Duncan and I checked what round they lost the year after they had won and twice it was the confidence semis. I think the winner of Minnesota/Denver absolutely goes to the finals to play Boston.
Leave it to Richard Wrong to say a team that lost to undrafted G-leaguers last year will beat the "the worst mvp in 40 years" that just sent his goat home 🤡🤡
😂😂😂😂 I know bro it's so sad it makes me so angry that everybody hates us the Miami Heat fans swear they are the most hated franchise but no it truly shows with the media we are the most hated franchise in the NBA not the Lakers not the Nuggets not the Wolves not the heat none of those teams are as hated as us and count it out year in and year out this is arguably our best year we've had since 08 and they are still counting us out like we're just some kind of overrated overhyped team it's seriously b******* bro😢😢
@@teethetrucker251 Oh don't get me wrong. The Clippers still have a chance, but they really need to stop allowing Westbrook to shoot. He is needed for energy, but if they allow him to keep launching all those bricks, they will lose the series.
😂😂😂 and you act like that's just a foregone conclusion and let's just say for an instance that we do win the championship what's going to be your excuse at the end of the day when we are lifting Banner number 18 that's right Banner number 18
@@christiangallietmo4585 I have no opinion about the NBA I'm just teaching you how to read a damn pie chart. 25% chance of something happening means 75% chance it doesn't happen, which is what the chart says, not me.
@@jayceh but in all actuality the East is pretty much ours that's a foregone conclusion and in my honest opinion looking at the stats looking at the head-to-heads there's only one team in the west that I can say that we will truly struggle with and that is the Denver Nuggets but I think the Denver Nuggets will have a harder time making it to back-to-back NBA Finals then the Celtics will be having to make it to the finals through the east the East is a cakewalk compared to the path that the Denver Nuggets have and here's a thought for you the Denver Nuggets may very well lose to the Minnesota Timberwolves
Why is Dallas so high they could miss around and lose the next two games …I don’t think they beating wolves or nuggets hell even the thunder (they maybe young but they are a team and they got each other back)
boston beat a beatup Miami team. it's like the big guy in school beating up the kid on crutches and thinking he's hard. boston won't be able to beat Minnesota, much less Denver. this ain't their year. just like every year.
Good point, all of a sudden a lot of these so called NBA expert analyst have this love affair with Anthony Edwards,he had a good series against Phoenix, but u have to realize that Paul,Booker, and Durant act like they had other things on there minds,I know it's a new year, but Denver thumped them easy last year,I will say the Timberwolves will win 2 games
I don't think the Celtics have a chicken shit chance to win a Ring with Tatum or Brown... they aren't good enough, they lack the brass to get over the hump. Tatum is soft, Brown is wildly overrated and they've got a LONG history of FAILURE in big moments. The Celtics are the NBA equivalent of the Cowboys... they got a history of Chips but that's all it is, history.... they have put all their money and faith in players that have LOSER DNA: Dak-Tatum, Micah-Brown, CeeDee-Porzingas..... Those guys aren't winners and never will be winners. Whether it's Cs v Nuggets or Wolves or even Dallas, I give the Celtics a 0% chance of winning a 7-game series in the Finals.
😂😂😂😂 what a long-winded statement on how to say you hate the Celtics without actually saying you hate the Celtics if you paid any attention to the regular season this season we split with the Wolves we beat the hell out of Dallas and the Denver Nuggets came down to the wire both games so I don't get where you're getting at that we are losers or we have loser DNA who is your team again and please tell me it's the Denver Nuggets or the Timberwolves so I can call you a f****** bandwagon please and go ahead tell me it's the Miami Heat so I can laugh my ass off at you maybe that's why you hate us so much because my team just knocked your team off or maybe it's because your team just has a really bad history against my team so you just hate us
@@christiangallietmo4585 Ya kinda missed my point if you're bringing up the regular season record considering my comparison, which is spot on, was the Cowboys - they play well in the regular season too - but come crunch time they shit the bed.... that's the modern history of the C's and actually the B's too. As for my fandom, I have the misfortune of being a Hawks fan.... not a great history but hey at least my heart doesn't get broken everytime April and May comes around... we know we're out long before that most years.
If the celtics win the chip......it's cause they aren't the best team ....just got an easier road....already getting disqualified by nick...lol wonder who his time is? Lol
The main thing nick got right is that the Celtics have the easiest path to the finals by a mile and should come out off it more rested and healthier. Which will make it so much more embarrassing for the Celtics when they eventually get knocked out.
Nick is insane,he still thinks Bird plays for the Celtics, that's why he picked them,oh yeah,he liked Kevin Mchale,Danny Aiange,Scott Wedman,Bill Walton,Greg Kite,is there anymore White guys...lol
@@RittenhousesRifle😂😂😂😂 for real even if they get past the Wolves they not getting past the Thunder or the Mavericks because the wolves are going to beat the hell out of their bodies and then they're going to go up against the Mavs or the Thunder and they're going to get eliminated
