I’ll ask the same question to Wildes I asked Stephen A. this morning when he said this level of foolishness: WTH do you want LeBron to say? Because you’d clown him if he went all overconfident about being on equal footing or something
Last year the Lakers were exhausted in every 4th quarter of that series. This year is different EVERYBODY. The Lakers are coming. This series will be a instant classic !!!!! I promise u that !!!!!!!!
Unfortunately with Vando out, Lebron is the 2nd best defender on this team. He has. To give full effort on that end and let other guys take more offensive responsibility.
It’s amazing how much time and energy these analysts spend talking about a team that has no chance of winning an NBA championship. Minnesota and OKC are much more interesting teams.
@@ThrifterGuy disagree. There’s obviously some financial incentive going on behind the scenes. Maybe it’s more about Lebron than the Lakers specifically and it’s a Clutch Sports thing. Either way, there is no way the Lakers can win. Lebron and AD are too old/banged up to play the amount of minutes needed to have a chance. Plus the roster is not optimally constructed. There’s a reason they are a play-in team…
@@tajgibson8776they did to get their last championship so there’s that and all this Denver talk, they still only have ONE CHAMPIONSHIP! How much you win in regular season means absolutely nothing…
Such a simp. Before that they wasn't 0 for 8 against them. Denver won one NBA championship so far. Lol yall act like won a 2nd championship already because they swept regular season with 3 wins
Yeah it’s on their mind cause of something that was said back in SEPTEMBER coming fresh off losing??😂 a whole season has been played to where they don’t care anymore but I guess hold them to something that was said months ago…
Has Nick ever had a single criticism of anything Lebron has ever said or done? Not that he didn’t have a good answer or anything but it’s so predictable
@@escobarrizzay3599 I didn’t say he should criticize him right now. I’m making the point that he never does no matter what and that boring. I like Lebron but you can’t always say he plays and does everything great
You are absolutely correct... it's kind of a "chicken & egg" scenario though. The NBA specifically has become unwatchable... so they can't even really show highlights or analyze gameplay anymore... because it's trash. So hyperbolic "hot takes" have replaced the actual sport for entertainment value. Most people in our society are blind to that turn of events ;-)
@@carlosdcpcg i mean yeah true, but it’s because LeBron is Hall of Famer and top ten all time. Same thing with them discussing the warriors lose. Ends of eras
The margins that the Lakers lost in the Western Conference finals last year, will be made up for this year with the roster changes and the starting five having to develop such good chemistry. Last year, the Western Conference finals were very close, and although it was a sweep, The Lakers are playing at a different level, different different level of confidence, and LeBron James is obviously the greatest player of all time.
I’m looking forward to this series. At first I wanted to see Clippers and Mavericks the most but this caught my attention and I don’t know about Kawhi’s health.
Incredible. Broussard makes a living of talking bb and forgets LeBron Ramon let his feelings and emotions run wild after the JR stuff...at least the funny guy remembers.
Should’ve picked up Dwight. You get Dwight he guards jokic by hisself without needing help and now everyone else can focus on Murray and porters shooting
It's not just that... he played most his career in a pitifully weak eastern conf. with ridiculously stacked teams. When MJ had a legit squad, he was never NOT the best player in the series!
I don't think the Lakers feel lik they loss this series already lol but they definitely gotta play hard cuz Denver really a good team they role players really show up when they play the Lakers
Were the Lakers talking about how they cant wait to play Memphis during the playoffs? As Brooks kept on talking trash... Were they like "wait until Game 3, just watch!?" Serious question... because if they kept it mature, Wilds is clearly wrong.
Lebron said the politic thing, which is fine. But this is just another demonstration that all his career, he just never showed the same (perhaps overly vaunted) "killer mentality" or competitive fire that players like Jordan, Kobe, and the 80s stars like Magic and Bird famously had, players who DID have grudges or even invented them for motivation. Those players didn't play "worse" with emotion, but possibly better. Lebron just isn't made up the same way, and it's fine. He doesn't need to talk up a crapstorm, just needs to perform better this time. Winning is the best revenge.
What LeBron is basically saying is focus on "the game"(in a diplomatic sort of way to your point). Yet, he's very strategic at playing mind games with the media and fellow opponents. Essentially, he's inviting Denver to get themselves round up on beating them that they completely underestimate the Lakers and lose. What MJ and Kobe exhibited in playing certain teams was added emotional motivation to win. Bron's answer to the reporters is telling "us" that LA is dead in the water when in reality they're game planning for the Nuggets more than it would be the other way around.
Nick's presentations are well researched to push things, I ll give him this. Now he's comparing the fittest DNA to play NBA who fakes fouls when playing little opponent to another older great who beats bigger opponents than him"Ali". Bravo man
People act like the Lakers haven’t been at play in level or below for almost the entire time LeBron has been there except for the year the season was cut short due to covid
Nick went into this whole, every time lebron had a rival, he beat them then thwy moved on, but what he fails to mention his at the start of all those rivalrys minus Toronto, and OKC who was just to young, the teans would beat LeBron first then he would move and find new rivals, or form a super team in order to compete against the old rivals.
Making it personal is what drives GOATs to rings. Reporters compared Drexler to Jordan, he took that personal. Barkley got the MVP in 93’ what happened in that series? Brady and bellicheck would take everything personal, how many rings was that? Kobe had to hear how he only won because of shaq, and that was his motivation to win 2 more. True GOATs can use it as a driving force to win. If it isn’t personal the series is already over, because it just shows the lack of competitive nature they have. Nuggets for the gentlemen’s sweep
Biggest difference between mike/kobe and bron. They would take this match up personally and would thrive on the animosity of the other team. Killers. You gotta be a killer.
Lakers issue with the nuggets is Davis can’t guard Jokic and they cannot execute down the stretch. While Murray and Jokic take over the game and get the win
Im not even joking, but the way the media psycho analyze what this man says and does. Every player has talked before their match up, and the media ONLY COVERS WHAT LEBRON HAS SAID. What are they gonna do when he retires . Smh scary
Why can’t people let this man enjoy his last few years without people trying to to clown him. Wow people get a life. Most people who dog this man get mad as heck if they even think someone talks negatively about them
Their best chance to win isn't to have LeBron go rogue and start breaking the offense like Kobe Bryant. Him playing with out of control anger and jacking up stupid ass shots like Kobe did is not the move lmao. Play as a team. LeBron, just be LeBron. AD has to be AD, and get enough contributions from the others to win these games. LeBron jacking up 30-40 shots a game will play right into Denver's hands
Wildes is delusional here. The only way it's not a "rivalry" is if the nuggets go on to win 2 more rings in the next 4 years and LBJ retires. LA won, and now a few years later the Nuggets have won.
It's a win-win for Lebron. If he does exactly as Ham wants, and they win, then they have a good chance of getting to the finales. If he does what Ham wants, and they get bounced and embarrassed, then he gets a new coach next year.
Lakers were worn out mentally and physically playing with injuries last year. This year is different. They are well rested and had more time to prepare compared to last year. Regular season is a different animal than playoffs where it's 0-0 and everything is magnified. Anything can happen.
Wait a minute...The spurs and warriors both have a playoffs winning record against Lebron? And now the nuggets might have one if they beat him again this year.
Lebron was damn sure not trying to give them bulletin board material. He’s not stupid. Can the lakers beat the nuggets? Yes. Can they beat them four times? I don’t think without injuries to Denver.
What changed is they face the possibility of losing to the Nuggets again and now realize how those eggs would look on their faces if they continue bragging while getting their asses whooped by the same team over and over again. Lebron knows this possibility, therefore counts on his people like Nick Wright to support him, no matter what.
He was speaking to alleviate pressure from nervous wreck people like DLO, AD etc .. These people are not good with pressure, while there are people born immune to pressure like AR, Rui who have the ability to steel themselves in any situation. Lebron knows he can't afford for DLO and AD disappear fighting against powerhouse team like Denver.
